Instead they came back with a defeatist report, saying that there were giants in the land and we were merely like grasshoppers. The children of Israel believed them and started wailing defeatist talk in response. This despite all the miracles they had seen including the parting of the Red Sea. The heart of democracy is not debate - but the sanctitity of life and the preservation of freedom, individual rights, law and order, safety on the streets and a fully functioning society. Debate alone does not guarantee any of that. But the heart of humanity is not democracy but the right to live. Questioning Israel's right to defend itself is the same as questioning Israel's right to exist. No economic pressure will work against Iran because the Iranian regime simply doesn't care whether or not their countrymen will starve to death by the boycotts or nuked to death by Israel. Iran's regime wants a world revolution - they want armageddon - they neither care for human life, nor freedom nor Iranian nationalism. The Iranian regime is a theocratic regime. It's as simple as that. If Dagan is getting tired of life and he wants to jump from a building, I suggest he does just that, or becomes a patient at a mental hospital or simply shuts up. I don't doubt for a second that Dagan, Olmert and Diskin are either ideologically convinced traitors or simply paid traitors and most likely they are paid either by Obama, Clinton or Ashton.
