My family was living near Lvov before the war. They don`t remember a single day without antisemitism. These people are the worst on earth.

In early years of the ww2 part of my family ggot deported from there to one of the first experimental extermination camps called Belzec. Believe me Lviv is not a Jewish Lovers town.

In 2008, the U.S. State Department published its "Contemporary Global Anti-Semitism: A Report Provided to the United States Congress" and singled out MAUP when it stated the Ukrainian-based organization "is one of the most persistent anti-Semitic institutions in Eastern Europe." meanwhile the glib politician retorts with surprise at london riots.

Why should they love you ? Two of your homies, Kaganowich, Yagoda and their hand picked Jewish crew are responsible for starving to death around 8-10 millions of Ukrainians alone between 1932/33 ,... Google "holodomor"and learn more about it. http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3342999,00.html

Yes. But these are two individuals, not most of an entire people such as Ukranians, Poles. These two countries were noted to be right behind the Nazis when it came to anti-semitism. But you bring these guys up at every opportunity, even if they did not represent most of their people, so why stop now, right?
6. I live in L'viv
Mark ,   L'vov, Ukraine   (06.11.12)
I am an American who has lived in Lviv since 1993. Yes there is a lot of antisemitism in Lviv, while there are also a lot of people who love the Jewish people. The church we attend loves them, and Israel. We sing Mi Kamocha and other Jewish songs in Ukrainian AND Hebrew, and finish every service with the Aaronic blessing. Like many cities around the world, L'viv is filled with the good, and the bad. I've eaten at the second restaurant mentioned, and know from people who lived in the city before WW2 that this was common in Jewish eateries. It is not meant as a stereotypical slap as much as an homage to the past. I think everyone should lighten up and understand that there is good and evil everywhere, and no one place can be typified as antisemitic. Individuals are, but not places. Y'vrecha Adonai!
7. No antisemitism in Lvov/Lviv/Lemberg
Eli ,   Israel   (06.12.12)
Not only the Nazis but their willing and encouraging Ukrainian collaborators helped depopulate the W. Ukraine, once the eastern part of the Austro-Hungarian Province of Galicia, of Jews. Not only have the Ukrainians shown their anti-semitism, but they have tried their very best to erase and efface any memory of Jews. A recent visit to the region showed that many Jewish cemeteries have been totally destroyed leaving nothing visible, and others are being destroyed by neighbors using them for garbage dumps, agriculture and by absolute neglect! No antisemitism in Lviv? Bullfeathers.

Are you sure that it wasn't a payback for Holodomor or supporting every invader that that showed up at their borders since they established themselves there? Remember that no one invaded them there, that they came like a locust, they settled there and lived there like one, and as a result of their lifestyle they became an object of hatred just like in Israel today or all the nations amidst whom they ever settled since the beginning of time.

and on, and on, and on. Is there antisemitism in Lviv? Yes, I've seen it. Are all Ukrainians antisemitic? No, I know many who are not. Did the things you base your hate upon happen in history? Yes. So how long will you fuel the hatred? Until another Holodomor or Holocaust. Get a life people.

for demonstrating that your posts have no basis in fact, and are emotional, hate filled, diatribes. We can continue to shake our heads at your blindness.

At least try to get some facts straight. Jews didn't "invade" diddly, they were invited into Poland by the magnates, princes and landed title-holders, to build their economies and run their estates. Ukrainian pogroms before and during WW2 had nothing to do with Stalin's forced starvation collectivization plan. Think before thouest speaks.
