1. LOL!
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.11.12)
We really HAVE gone through the looking glass! Let's see. I think I have this right. An unrepentant terrorist murderer is killed by the French police because he refuses to surrender and face appropriate justice. The murderer's father sues the police (doubtless trying to make a quick buck) because his depraved terrorist killer of a son refuses to surrender peacefully to police (despite many requests to do so). Next thing you know, we'll be hearing tales of how wonderful his son was. Doubtless picked flowers for his mother, every day. Visited the mosque, at least three times a day (well, that one just might well be true). Helped little old ladies cross the street. Oh -- and -- let's not forget -- murdered innocent Jews -- some of them children. It is the Republic of France -- and the Surete and Gendarmerie -- that should be suing this miscreant of a father, for having raised such a poor excuse for a human being. Not the other way around.

5. Who's paying for this waste of time and money?
rebecca ,   Modiin   (06.11.12)
Of course, if he was suing the Israeli police in Israeli courts, we would be paying, and he'd probably win.
6. Give money to terrorists families like Saddam
David ,   Israel   (06.11.12)
I will be shocked if they give in and actually give this father of a devil one Franc. The standoff lasted over 24 hours with him refusing to come out and firing shots at the police. It actually makes me sick that people like this exist in this world and are given full rights by the country they are set to destroy.
7. What needs to happen
Amichai ,   Huntsville, US   (06.11.12)
The judicial system in France needs to seize this opportunity to make an example of people filing frivolous lawsuits. They should not only dismiss the case, but should penalize both the plaintiff and the scumbag lawyers that represent him. I'd say 100K Euro and a year in jail should do it.
8. Nr 1.
Arn. ,   Sweden.   (06.11.12)
The Father is probably worse than his son. Arn.Sweden.
9. funny bunny
Charles   (06.11.12)
WOW.. instead of killing him.. the father was hoping that he could have been locked away in france for 5 lifetimes in solitary confinement.. like monkey... so atleast he would still be alive.. What a loser.. My advice to a father of a monster like this.. is to stay out of sight and hide...from embarrassment and shame.....
10. Muslims Are Slowly, But Surely, Destroying Europe

11. The father should come to Israel where the "High Court" run
Chaim ,   Israel   (06.11.12)
by Beinish and her cronies will accept him with open arms and support him fully.
12. Like always, an islamic follower...
Beary White ,   Norway   (06.11.12)
..is always ready to substitude the devil. The son just did what his father has brainwashed into him, HATE, HATE , HATE and death to non- islamic followers. Islam in the basic formula..

To make short: check out her résumé on Wikipedia... & don' t be surprised !
15. Countersuit
Jacob Erickson ,   Holon, Israel   (06.11.12)
The police need to file a countersuit against his father as he is responsible for his son claiming that his son caused a waste of police resources with his apprehension.
16. Put his parents in jail!
Rio ,   New York   (06.11.12)
17. New Leftist Governmetn will help him
AurevoirFrance ,   Jerusalem Israel   (06.11.12)
No doubt the new leftist government will help with the case.France just voted for its own elimination.
18. Chutzpah
mike caton ,   usA   (06.12.12)
This is the most extreme example of chutzpah that I have ever encountered. Of course, given the new Socialist government in France, this man may actually win in court.
19. Father of Merah sues France
Ken ,   US Virgin Islands   (06.12.12)
Are you kidding me? The government of France should counter sue, charging this pathetic excuse for a "father" to his son, Mohammed, with child abuse for raising a hate-filled son! Sad to say, your son is better off, sir. Stop hiding behind your religious cowardess and accept the responsibility for your negligence!
20. Algerian lawyer Zahia Mokhtari
Anna ,   Montreal, Canada   (06.12.12)
"Mokhtari said in April that she had proof that Merah was “liquidated”, including two 20-minute videos probably filmed by Merah himself before he was shot dead." Did French Police left the evidences behind in the apartment, was the video stolen from Police archives, or was somebody else there filming the encounter? In any case French Police has lots to learn from these creatures. Their poison works slowly but surely.
21. It was convenient for the French govt. to blame a dead Arab
Orly ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (06.12.12)
... Until the French police announced that the Arab weapons stockpiler & self-declared Al-Qaeda affiliate was to blame - everyone remembered the reports of a neo-Nazi being behind the attacks and even described the shooter as "white, with a neck tattoo." After the first two attacks it seemed that the suspect was known to authorities but the pressure really came when Jews were killed. The video only shows the shootings from the eye-view of the shooter. It was an election year with a heavy anti-foreigner atmosphere and instead of putting a Christian on trial it was more convenient to eliminate the new suspect and change the issue from French people problems to Semitic people problems. Anyone following politics in France knew once the announcement of the beseiged Arab "perpetrator" that he was not going to be taken into custody alive.
22. "That raises a lot of questions"
William ,   Israel   (06.12.12)
It sure does, like why didn't the terrorist just give himself up in the face of overwhelming odds? Or why did he have such a stockpile of weapons and came out firing at the large group of police if he didn't have a death wish based on an inhumane ideology? Or better yet - what would have been the outcome if instead they tried to arrest him and waited it out for what could be days. Would that be fair to the civilians in the building, especially if he decides to use explosives? Clearly, he proved already that he has NO respect for human life, including his own.
