These reports of children being used as human shields as part of Assad killing his own civilians, must mean it's time for him to chair the UN committee for human rights. I' m surprised the Nobel committee haven't so far voted Assad a peace prize. These international bastions of human rights are not keeping their usual standards, maybe these are only relevant for judging Israel.

Most of the countries mentioned for abuse of children seem to have one thing in common --their Islamic culture. In Gaza, civilians, including children, were used as human shields, yet Israel got the blame. This report puts Gaza in context.

This is a galaxy more than just a shame. It is shameful, that the UN is not capable of intervention. This is the height of the UN response? Calling the mass murder of innocent civilians a "Shame". The UN, and its mission have been called in question, and increasingly so. Their answer to the killing in Syria is to issue this. The UN should be dismantled, and labeled the real "shame". The shame now "levied" officially upon the Syrian regime could have been done much earlier. The same Syrian regime has been enjoying the simpathy of the whole Arab world including some Israeli Arab MK-s for decades. Will ever anyone in the Arab word say: we apologize,we trusted and encouraged a monster just because he was one of us! What about giving back the Golan to the Assad regime just now? That is a peace loving goverment,isn't that?

There are no Arabs in the Golan, only Druze. The Druze of the Golan have no problem supporting Israel, but they are not stupid. They saw that Ehud Barak sold out our SLA allies to Hezbolla, and they saw how Peres, Barak and Olmert worshipped Assad "the wise reformer" and begged him to take over the Golan. These good people realized that if they were loyal to Israel, eventually an Israeli leader would betray them and they would be murdered. They protested for Assad as an insurance policy while praying that the Israeli extreme-Left would fail.
