NOT HAND OVER PERTINENT SENSITIVE INFORMATION, which was directly in The Security and Safegarding Israeli Citizens??????????????????????? Did Any Americans Lose Their Life Due To Info J.Pollard Handed Over To Israel? Did The libyian Terrorist who was Released Early by scotland Have American Blood on his hands? The Oslo agreement is dead.
34. LIFE SENTENCE
Williamson ,   NYC   (06.14.12)
Israel should be forced to pay the costs of his imprisonment. Why should we taxpayers have the burden of feeding and giving shelter to this criminal? I am fed up of seeing my country be a hostage of Israel. We are losing markets, prestige and influence because of piece of land smaller than New Jersey. Com'on....
35. Poor little hateful Vlad
Kelly ,   Israel   (06.14.12)
Must suck being you. So what is it about the greedy POS Pollard that you find so attractive? Do you see yourself in him? You obviously got a hard-on about all things American. Again, must suck being you as the US is israel's only friend and when you piss on it (as you constantly do--don't be a coward and deny it) you only help Isreal's enemies. Get a grip on your hate, you do our cause no good.

Vlad   (06.14.12)
No, I don't hate the United States. I just can't stand it when I constantly hear it being posted on the internet about how horrible it was of Israel to do such a dastardly thing, and when I keep hearing people repeat rumors like how he allegedly turned over the names of CIA sources in Russia and repeat it as if it were a confirmed fact. I also can't stand it when people say how Pollard should have been hanged, yada yada, when most spies caught in the US get off with far less, and all this time, I know exactly what these people would be saying if the tables were turned and a CIA source was serving life or facing the gallows in Israel. I have never seen such vitriol directed at any other spy. What makes you think I hate the US? It's just a pet peeve of mine about how any mention of Pollard automatically turns into Israel-bashing among American posters.

"Pollard is scheduled for mandatory release in 2015 if he remains on good behavior" The key word here Mr. Idiot is "Good behavior". And who is to determine what good behavior is? Its us Americans. My guess is that this FATSO will remain our guest until he rots in prison where he belongs. I would not have seen you people asking for his release if he were a Muslim...
38. To # 23 American Jew. I never said he
ben   (06.14.12)
should be executed and perhaps the word Treason was not correct but espianage certainly. and if you took the time to read my post at # 16 I said make a deal let him go home. Holy cow American Jew talk about hate. get a life
39. Enough of this fixation over the Pollard weasel!
Cameron ,   USA   (06.14.12)
The matter is settled. He sits in his cell till we're inclined to toss him out. FINIS
40. #37 Pollard has been one of the best-behaved prisoners
Vlad   (06.14.12)
With no real prison infractions, they'll HAVE to let him go. That's assuming he stays on good behavior. Speaking of Muslims, did you hear about US Navy sailor Hassan Abu Jihad? Converted Muslim, born Paul R. Hall. Gave Al-Qaeda the locations of USN ships around the globe for them to launch another USS Cole-style attack. Got off with 10 years.
41. If Peres had an ounce of dignity ....
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.14.12)
... he should have come to the podium and announced that absent clemency for Jonathan Pollard, he could not in good faith accept the medal. But Peres has no spine. We know that.
42. To: No. 2
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.14.12)
I guess, then, that you would have no problem were Israel to try MK Zoabi and MK Tibi for treason, isn't that right? Treason carries the death penalty in Israel, did you know that? And there is nothing more treasonous than the despicable acts of Tibi and Zoabi, and a few more Arab MKs.
43. The other side of Obama's decision
Istvan ,   BUDAPEST HUNGARY   (06.14.12)
Maybe many US jews, who voted for Hussein effendi, will change their opinion in November.
44. Pollard's sentence
Ben Ze'ev ,   Panama City Panama   (06.14.12)
I'm not sure that he was convicted of "espionage" I have read that it was "unauthorised possession of secret documents" and his plea-bargain was supposed to have resulted in a sentence of not more than 4 years. It's WELL KNOWN that many convicted spies have been released after serving an average of 2 years. Most of them for far more serious crimes. There is onviously something very deep behind this implacible prrsecution which will likely never be revealed. The conversation and notes from Secretary Weinberger before the snetence must have had the result which the whole Kewish world is battling against, (except Peres and company of course).
45. For #25
Ben Ze'ev ,   Panama City Panama   (06.14.12)
I don't believ that nonsence for one second fill a room that size from floor to ceiling. What was he doing, using a truck?? That's pure BUMPF, and PR crap to try to justify the unjustifiable incarceration in solitary confinement for 30 years of a man who should have served only 2., like everyone else convicted of the same crime. But none were Jews as I've heard. Only Jews get the maximum, like the Rosenbergs, of whom you may have heard, Mr's Rosenberg was completely innocent, yet was executed.
46. # 37 Brilliant,
Keren, IL-BR   (06.14.12)
Good Mark, you scored again. We miss people like you around this Talkback to bring some light and good sense.
47. 37 naturally we'll be concern of our own
ygalg ,   israel   (06.14.12)
just as you would be. is that wrong sentiment? are you saying, that if a CIA agent got caught and now in prison you would not care for his release? I don't expect you to be caring about russian or iran agents. but for your fellow man you would like that a country that hold him would pardon him and release him. don't be hypocrite.
