Obama has no back bone to stand up to the disgusting Russian leaders. Russia and US will always be enemies when ex-KGB's thugs like Putin are inc charge. Now Russia is arming the Thug regime of Assad to kill more innocent people. Obama will do nothing like usual.

Instead of caring for America, Obama followed his Arab-firster instincts. Consumed with a desire to destroy Israel, he went so far as supporting Ahmadinejad against the Green Revolution. He attacked Libya for no reason, killing a few thousands innocents and antagonizing the Russians by lying. When he finally realized that a nuclear Iran is bad for the US, it was too late for a peaceful solution. His strategy for weakening Iran by attacking Syria makes sense and could have succeeded if coordinated with the Russians, the Chinese, and the Alawi. Instead, filled with arrogance, believing for his own propaganda and doing nice for the Saudis, Obama picked the worst possible solution that guarantees the deaths of thousands of innocents, collision with Russia and a real chance of nuclear Iran. If this one blows up, and the price of energy and food skyrocket, Obama will be remembered as the racist whose blind hatred for the Jews brought death to millions.

well at least Russia is helping their ally Assda, instead of just emitting hot-air & lip service as Obama is doing for Israel.

Did anyone believe that the cold war was ever over ? All that happened was a shift change in the Kremlin. They run rings around the west.....

The West must realize that SYria, Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan, and "palestine" are all states invented by European imperialist powers ( UK, France). They are failed states with no popular mandate to rule. They must be dismantled into their constituent parts, just like Yugoslavia, the USSR, and Czechoslovakia. Consequently, there is NO nead to create another failed state, "palestine" since it too is not a nation state, but another failed (terrorist) state. The arabs in Jordan, Souther Syria, and central Iraq should form one democratic state with which Israel can divide areas A and parts of Area B of the West Bank. That is the only just solution to the current conflicts in the Levant.
