1. He travelled to Britain with the documents in order to what?
ab   (06.20.12)
2. Uri Blau the weasel.
Ben Ze'ev ,   Panama   (06.20.12)
Blau is the real scoundrel in this. That leprechaun faced midget instigated the whole thing, and wheedled and weaseled the silly girl into her dangerous act. Then he sccoted off to a foreign country with the documents, a country full of those unfriendly to Jews, and especially Israel. The country responsible for the Jews having only 22% of the original Land, instead of 100%.
3. SOB lock him up now. If you cant see the difference ..
shadoil79 ,   Jerusalem   (06.20.12)
between investigative reporting and giving out info which threatens the security of your family, then you need to be LOCKED UP and the key thrown away!!
4. IPI condemns the decision ?
Jennie ,   Israel/US   (06.21.12)
What a big surprise ! Not ! I wonder what would the reaction of IPI be, if Uri Blau or any other British citizen committed the same crime/espionage and faced trial, for example,Great Britain ? Is stealing secret IDF documents, translates as "opression of Freedom ? Really ? How "offensively rude" for the Israeli police to pursue this criminal.. ! Anyone with a little analytical sense and desire to seek truth, would sense, that stirring up problems and manipulating facts to their advantage, would be unacceptable..Whoever wrote this article, must have little writer's integrity...And why is the name of the reporter, missing ?
5. The vigilanti justice of IPI.
Miron ,   USA   (06.21.12)
Crime is a crime is a crime is a crime... It's regrettable when one commits crime but what can one say when there are people to cover up the crime because they feel "nice" about breaking law... which is worse? They sent same request for Pollard to Gosdep.
6. He is a Spy
Joe Sombrero ,   USA   (06.21.12)
He is lucky he is in Jail he should have been sentence to death.
7. surprise! ipi doesn't care about Israeli security
rick ,   walnut creek   (06.21.12)
of course, it's easy for ipi and the other international organizations to take the part of an individual who breached his agreement with prosecutors and the court and who has worked to subvert Israel's security. these organizations are, at best, indifferent to Israel's problems and, more likely, enemies of Israel. send blau to jail. throw away the key.
8. The Documents Clearly Said CLASSIFIED, SECRET OR SIMILAR
Netanya ,   Netanya   (06.21.12)
When anyone opens a document which is private or classified and then uses it publicly, they should be tried. In the USA opening mail that is not addressed to you is a Federal Crime. To give out classified information of a country, copy and print it for all to see, endangering many is illegal and immoral. Israel has enough problems without the secret information being made public and printing any delicate information is traitorous. Lock up this criminal and throw away the key, he can keep a dairy in prison and print it when he gets out in 25 yrs-30 yrs.
9. IPI Ynetnews what´s the difference? This lack of ettics
Ari ,   Jerusalem-Romania   (06.21.12)
on behalf of the Israeli Press is something not to believe. In this includes Ynedts news with articles like this one and not signed, this is almost cowardice. Vert brave to critisizebut not brave enough to put the writers name. How discusting!! These were stolen secret documents not investigative report. 4 Years is not enough.
10. Media standards
Sherlock Holmes ,   London England   (06.21.12)
The standard of ethics in the Western media has reached so low that we often seem to have trial by media. It's time a court ruled on a case like Blau's. It seems like anything anti-Israel is considered acceptable by the world's editors.
