National Service is an integral part of Israeli Society. But it also provides irreplaceable life skills - especially that of communication, leadership, self reliance, teamwork and mutual support - skills that businesses look for - apart from academic achievement It just does NOT MAKE SENSE that Israeli Arabs are excluded from National Service and hence the opportunity of developing these invaluable life skills that would enhance their confidence as well as their prospects in the work place

They are not excluded from national service, it is optional because some Israeli Arabs disagree with it. I personally have had the honor of serving alongside 3 Israeli Arabs in a combat position, 2 of which were awarded for their exemplary service.

Arab Israelis are not required to do national service. They can certainly volunteer either in the IDF or in the National Service program. There are those that do, btw. Often the Arabs or Druze who volunteer in the IDF keep it secret from their neighbors, changing out of uniform before approaching their villages/neighborhoods. They have been excluded through their own unwillingness to be a part of Israeli society and not because of any discrimination by Israel.

Why must us Jews help the murderers of our people?? Any new jobs should be for all people, not just arabs, but should be for Jews. Everytime Israel try to be fair and gives to these ungrateful racists, she gets a knife in the back. Israel should do whatever is necessary to rid Israel of arabs. Buy up land, whatever needs to be done to send them to jordan.

It seems thel east educated arabs are the most religioius and anti Jewish.. Perhaps by raising the standard of living via education and better pay, exstemism will decrease.

Currently Israel has up to 10,000 unfulfilled vacancies in tech sector and number of those vacancies is going to increase. This program will fill this hole until better solution can be found.
