Daniel ,   Flagstaff, AZ   (06.24.12)
The boy is loved; who CARES if he is smoking!? It could be a LOT worse! The gov't has no business in their affairs!
3. Only in israel you see something like this happen

4. Arrest the parents.
David ,   Hartford USA   (06.24.12)
Just proves there are jackass parents the world over. When not giving the poor toddler a smoke, they probably think it's 'cool' to give him a beer. Hold the parents up to nationwide ridicule and shame - they have earned it. And put the parents on probabtion for 15 years - so social workers can keep an eye on them all. And time to put an end to the universal habit of israelis smoking 24-7. It's a dirty, smelly habit that costs the country hundreds of millions of shekels a year in needless health-care costs and litters the beaches, parks, and streets countrywide. Raise the tax on smokes by 300%. If morons want to smoke, they can at least pay for the damage they cause themselves.
5. Poor Child!
Taz Man ,   USA   (06.24.12)
The child should be taken away from the irresponsible parents; then, the parents' jailed for endangerment of a child!
6. Good punishment!
Jake Stone ,   USA   (06.24.12)
Make the idiot father smoke ten packs in-a-row until he turns green and pukes! Do that for one-whole week; that just might make him lose the filthy habit?!

8. Can't the autorithies do anything?
Keren IL-BR   (06.24.12)
This is a free country and everybody can do whatever they want with their children... but this is so unconfortable.
9. Where are those social workers who love
Where are SW ,   when you need them?   (06.24.12)

10. @Danny
Arie ,   BaGolan   (06.24.12)
You are the perfect example as to why the suicide and juvenile delinquency rate in the US continues to skyrocket. You should be reported to the Arizona State Police to see if you have kids, and if so removed!!!!!!!
11. To No 3 100% agree in European country's
NATAN ,   ISRAEL   (06.24.12)
like yours thehy give them cocaine or LSD
12. Not a decade ago and this was legal!
Orly ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (06.24.12)
Israel just put in laws against providing tobacco to minors. The child's parents, like many in their generation, probably got their first cigarettes from their parents - together with smoking lessons - and at a tender age no less.
13. only in Israel
Natan ,   Raanana   (06.24.12)
Although i too am appalled check out youtube lots more from all over the world. Then again dressing up your kid as a suicide bomber is pretty bad too

15. That's not love . . .
SD Charger ,   San Diego   (06.24.12)
Love is when you look after his well being, not harming it. This kids lungs are susceptible to infection at his age. Your lungs scar instead of rejuvenating after an illness. Giving him cigarettes as a joke is not funny either. His parents need to be talked too.

SD Charger ,   San Diego   (06.24.12)
A guy in Colorado was smoking marijuana and then blowing it in the face of his toddler. There are sick parents all over the world. At least these two were caught.

"Only in israel you see something like this happen". Poor effort at trolling. Just look for 'smoking children' on YouTube to see how wrong you are.

25. In my opinion
Hertzel ,   Tveria   (06.25.12)
he is being fed cigarrets to keep his parent's peace and quiet. He is a toddler, and we all know the "teriggle two's" syndrome where kids scream and demand for every little thing... so they calm him down that way and "buy" there peace. BAD BAD parenting, as bad as letting him drink alcohol.

Actually, there was just a report about a young child smoking in the far East. So, no not just in Israel.
27. only in Israel?
rosa ,   netherlands   (06.25.12)
then you should look on the internet where this seems to happen in other countries too. Strange thing that this is your reaction? did you contemplate that the parents could be toursist, or arb, or bedoui or whatever?? And whatever the parents are: they are criminally endangering their child.
28. Toddler with cigarette
Yoel ,   Israel   (06.26.12)
Was this a joke? the parents are to blame and taken to task.
29. #16 The Parents need talking to!
Moragh   (06.28.12)
are you kidding..... the parents need to be slammed behind bars and the little child put into a good home and help break the filthy habit his rogue parents encourages him into. But no doubt the Israeli law will ignore it and the public will continue to enjoy the laugh. I'm just wondering if Israel upholds any means of a LAW. If not, I think it is time that they learned so! In any case, the child should be removed from its present home.
