1. Your Government is insane
BJL ,   usa   (06.26.12)
Syria, Hamas, Hizballah, Iran in the North.....Egypt and Hamas...in the South...all surrounding you like a snake. And Bibi and Mofaz focus on kicking Jews out of Judea and Samaria. Those two and their enablers are truly disgusting.
2. so hard.
tony ,   israel   (06.26.12)
3. THAT S SOOOOOO SAD ! ! !
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (06.26.12)
4. @1 thank you for disrespecting my government...
Rachel ,   Efrata, Israel   (06.26.12)
and my government's right to follow its chosen rule of law. I am truly sorry that my government has offended you. By the way it is correct and customary to refer to leaders by their full names. For example Prime Minister Mr. Netanyah and Vice Prime Minister Mr. Shaul Mofaz. I respect your right to dislike them, I do not respect your right to be disrepectful to them.
5. The insanity in this government has reached the point of no
ASHAMED OF ,   ISRAEL   (06.26.12)
RETURN. This ungodly Jewish state will be destroyed by HaShem for the way it disrespects HIM and treats good Jews. There is NO REASON these poor people have to be thrown out of their homes in the middle of summer to live in these squeltering tin boxes. NONE of the people who are demanding this happen would themselves live in them. They should be allowed to stay in their homes until new permanent homes are built and the court looks at the FACTS and determines who owns the land. THIS IS TOTAL AND ABSOLUTE CRUELTY AND INSANITY.
6. #4 Sorry Rachel you are not Miss Manners and this is Israel
Ilan   (06.26.12)
While it would be proper to refer to politicians by their proper names I have yet to see anyone do here. And I can't recall a politician so deserving of respect as to deserve it. Our politicians since Ben Gurion are on the whole opportunists and liars. Our government is riddled with nepotism, favoritism and corruption, from the High Court which didn't even bother to hear the evidence in regard to the Ulpana buildings down to our port workers, fire fighters and health services. We unfortunately live in a perpetual state of mutual contempt.
7. Israel harms it s BEST PATRIOTS.
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (06.26.12)
8. #4 Mahmoud
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (06.26.12)
Mofaz swore on his honor that he would not leave the Likud, but changed his mind when Sharon increased the bribe. Netanyahu lied to his voters and violated the Likud constitution. Respect is earned, not taken, and neither of these clowns earned any respect. As for Ulpana, everyone knows that the the destruction of these houses has nothing to do with the rule of the law. The houses are legal, and the court case was faulty. and #1 is right. The ethnic cleansing of Gush Katif brought death and destruction to the South of Israel, and turned Gaza/Sinai into a strategic threat. Only someone insane, stupid as a shoe or extremely corrupt would repeat ethnic cleansing in Judea and Samaria.
9. Ulpana
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.26.12)
I hope that the homes being evacuated will be destroyed. I think the water and sewer lines which connected those homes should be cut off. The sidewalks should be bulldozed, the trees which were lovingly planted by the Jewish people should be uprooted and planted elsewhere. Rocks and boulders should be brought to the vacant lots. In short -- the land in question should be returned in precisely the same condition as it was when the homes were built -- rocky, desolate, barren, no water lines, no fuel lines, no sewage connections. No trees, no grass, no flowers, no sidewalks. And you know what? In five years, the land will look exactly the same, except worse. For people who claim to "love" the land, the ersatz "Palestinians" certainly haven't done anything to reclaim it from desolation or improve it. That stands to reason -- they are a fictitious people with a co-opted identity and an invented history. They do not love the land because they have no legitimate ties to the land. That's just fact.
10. Bibi and his flock
Moragh   (06.26.12)
Hell mend bibi, the slob ehud barak and their followers for the removal of innocent people from their homes in Ulpana. I'd sooner be me with nothing than share the boots of bibi and his weaklings. May hell mend you all!
11. #4 Rachel...unlike you I find it difficult
Arlene ,   Israel   (06.26.12)
to have respect for liars, cheats and opportunists. Repsect must be earned. The only politician that was a true statesman and Israel more than filling his own pockets was MR MENACHEM BEGIN. For the rest they will be just Bibi, Mofaz etc, and you will find most of us do not use the Mr./adon. I think you will find this in many countries and for sure many Americans just say Obama!!!!
12. which is why we'll probably NEVER get the Temple back!
agree with 4 ,   Israeli 2   (06.26.12)
A pity you are part of the problem instead of trying to be part of the solution.... baseless hatred and disrespect leads to violence and violence is never good!
13. #1,3,5,6,8,9,10,11 EXCELLENT TALKBACKS!
Chaim ,   Israel   (06.26.12)
You guys said it all. Nothing else to add. If only one of you would replace Bibi, Mofaz, Barak and Beinish, the evil, heartless leaders whose only mercy are towards the cruel, Israel would be more respected in the world instead of being the cause of anti-Israel and stronger anti-Semitism worldwide.
14. The problem is the UNDEMOCRATIC system in Israel....
US Lawyer ,   Washington DC   (06.26.12)
There is NO other "democracy" in the world where a person or party can bring a case directly to the Supreme Court and bypass the fact finding lower courts. It is simply ludicrous that this is possible in Israel. The outsome would have been completely different if all parties first had to proceed through fact finding in the lower courts as is done in the US. Only then and after all appeals have been exhausted can a case in the US proceed (IF it takes the case) to the Supreme Court. WHY DOESN'T ANYONE IN ISRAEL SEE THAT THIS IS THE PROMBLEM? WHY DOESN'T THE KNESSET CHANGE THE RULES so that people (usually leftists and Arbs) can not use this trick and avoid having to present proof and the facts??? This is outrageous in a country that calls itself a democracy.
15. The Lord is my Shepherd
Ben ,   Jerusalem   (06.26.12)
The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures. He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul. He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name' sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: For thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; Thou annointest my head with oil; My cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the House of the Lord forever.
16. To Rabbi Zalman Melamed
Joel ,   Israel   (06.26.12)
If I were a religious person, it would seem to me that God's will is to remove the settlement.
17. I JUST DONT UNDERSTAND
Tim ,   Brighton   (06.26.12)
These people are well meaning passionate and dedicated commited to the Land of Israel but the Law dictates that THEY MUST MOVE and so they MUST That said..If only we could attract and incentivise these same people to build new settlements IN THE BIBILICAL BEATING HEART of the Kingdom of King David...In the Northern Negev around Beersheeba.. Who says the pioneering spirit was over in Israel?
18. Oh what a lovely day what a wonderful morning
Haim ,   TA   (06.26.12)
Am i bothered ? Nah not really
19. In our own homeland, still we struggle
Ezra ,   SanDiego USA   (06.26.12)
Just watch,... as the new housing comes into play, someone, some government, some external entity will try to stop it. Leaving the settlers high and dry in temporary shelters? I think not.
20. We may not break ur spirit, but we HAVE MOVE YOU!
Tamar Caro ,   Israel   (06.26.12)
The democratically elected government of the State of Israel took the right decision..."out, out damned spot!" Next time remember Caveat Emptor! Do it legally or don't do it at all!
21. @14 we don't see the problem because we don't have one....
(06.26.12)
only you with your arm chair long distance expertise see this as a problem.
22. For this we voted Likud??
Yosi ,   Gilo, Jerusalem   (06.26.12)
And we thought that we voted for a party that would protect our interests instead of attack and destroy us.
23. #4: What a NONSENSE you sprout!
Israeli 2   (06.26.12)
You are simply disgusting!
24. Tragic
Marcel ,   Florida   (06.26.12)
How tragic that Jews once again do the dirty work of their enemies against fellow Jews to 'score points' and gain favor for themselves.
25. New Ulpana twinned to New Gush Katif ?
Roland Seener ,   London England   (06.26.12)

28. to 27
Jennie ,   Israel/US   (06.27.12)
Who are the theives here, Abdallah ? And what do you think would be a justified perimeter for the Jewish state of Israel ?
29. to no. 20
Jennie ,   Israel/US   (06.27.12)
Since my earlier respond was not posted and no one replied to you, I'll try again to respond to your post... It is not the first time, that the Israeli leaders giving up sacred Jewish land, hoping for peace, that is not only behind the horizon, but you can bet your last shekel, that it will never happen..But after giving up Yehuda and Shomron, the terror attacks will intensify and we'll get new demands...You don't need a crystal ball to know it...Just reflect on history, Tamar.. The more We hold on to our land, the more they' would respect us.. "damned spot"?...Shame on You...Many of our troops gave up their lives for it..
30. to 16
Jennie ,   Israel/US   (06.27.12)
