1. An outrageous idea which actually
Robert Haymond ,   Israel/Gush Etzion   (06.28.12)
makes sense. Thanks to the author.
2. Dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb and dumber.
Chaim ,   Israel   (06.28.12)
One has to wonder what alternative universe the author calls home. Both elections and polls show most Israeli Arabs are hostile to Israel and identify with fictional Palestine. Building them homes in Judea and Samaria, the more than 3,500 year old ancestral heartland of Jews is an appalling idea. As far as they are concerned, Jews will be building "Palestine". Dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb and dumber.
3. Gee don't let the facts confuse you
JD ,   Israel   (06.28.12)
Using any population stats and demographics, especially with significant growth in jeiwsh birth rate and decline in Arab, even if you included all the non citizens of Israel, there is no chance through demographics that the Jew will be a minority on this side of the Jordan river. To claim we will be a minority ruled state is a scare tactic, and is flat out false.
4. Secular Zionists throw Jews out of their homes and land
(06.28.12)
and then hand it over to Arabs and other goyim.
5. Allow West Bank Arabs to live in Israel as full citizens.
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (06.28.12)
6. silly and ignorant
sara   (06.28.12)
very easy to write these dumb ignorant ideas from abroad. Why don't you come to live in Judea and Samaria ?
7. Arabs settlers are moving in
BH ,   Iowa   (06.28.12)
Thousands of illegal structures in Area C.
8. You mean Arabs who don't want even to sing the anthem
m   (06.28.12)
Are Zionists? It's true what the psychologist, I think his name was Levy who wrote that leftism is a mind disease, La, la land all the way down.
9. Wanted: Arab Settlements in Jordan-Palestine
Jake ,   USA   (06.28.12)
When Israel has a real leader, he/she should demand that the Hashemite regime allow free elections in Jordan-Palestine, absorb all refugees, and extend an offer of full citizenship to former Jordanian-Palestinian citizens living on the West Bank, thus settling the issue of Palestinian statehood for once and for all. If the Hashemites reject these demands, Israel should topple the illegal Hashemite regime, and begin building Arab settlements on the East Bank.
10. Good Idea
Ron ,   OC US   (06.28.12)
Getting the Arabs out of Israel and away from Jews is a good idea.
11. Israeli Arab Settlers
Floriane ,   Israel   (06.28.12)
#1 I totally agree with you. It is surprising but potentially extremely interesting. The article is also very well written and articulate. I thank the author as well!
12. B"H - Rafael Castro, Give Your Bedroom To Arabs, Not Mine!
Ariel Ben Yochanan ,   Kfar Tapuah, Efraim   (06.28.12)
13. Chaim @ #2:
Israeli 2   (06.28.12)
I told you Chaim. Until everyone thinks the way we do, Israel will remain divided as it is now. On top of all that, there is no logical, strong leadership.
14. #9: I agree
Israeli 2   (06.28.12)
Such a leader in Israel I have yet to see.
15. The late great Rabbi Kahane, Z"l said:
Israeli 2   (06.28.12)
"They (Arabs) understand me and I understand them... but we both don't understand those who support them(Arabs)." Arabs understand, respect and honor strong and staunch Israeli leaders. They hate wishy washy leftists. There will never be real peace until we have such strong convicted leaders.
16. #5.
A ,   Belgium   (06.28.12)
Return to the Native Americans the lands, including Silver Bay, MN USA, you stole from them. Than talk.
17. Your column is why others see Israel as an apartheid state.
(06.28.12)
"Secondly, by building new towns for non-Jews, Israel reaffirms its commitment to equality amongst all its citizens." Those comments are explicitly apartheid in nature.
18. Swap homes
Shimon ,   San Diego, Californi   (06.29.12)
The Israeli Palestinians should swap homes with the Jewish west bank settlers. Build more homes in the west bank and Gaza for the rest of the Israeli Palestinians. Give them all one-way tickets. They can serve in the IDF west bank.
19. Only a bigot could make this suggestion....
Janice ,   US   (06.29.12)
but when it comes to Israel the whole world is a bigot.
20. MACHIAVILLIAN
X   (06.29.12)
21. If Jews are really so smart...
Avi ,   NYC, USA   (06.29.12)
...why do they end each chapter of their history with the egg on their collective face, or in a much worse conundrum? Can't they use their superior collective brain to reach a better results? Apparently...not This article, and many other like it in YNET, demonstrate that when Jews use their collective brain all they can manufacture is a set of assumptions that after being processed in some twisted fashion lead to...nowhere. Leaving the incidental Goyish observer puzzled. That the balance of power in the Middle East is changing rapidly to our detriment is clear to anyone who cares about Israel and those who wish its destruction, alike. One has to be a right wing politician or a demented Gush Emunim rabbi not to see the arrival of...the end of the Jewish state. We are not going to be able to drive the Palestinians out, and we are moving into a hellish one state solution. All the might of the US and of the AIPAC puppet masters cannot, and will not, change the demographic tide closing on us from all over. Endless assassinations will not change our situation. And while thew Arab Peace Initiative, that offers a fair solution to the conflict while assuring the existence of the Jewish State, is still on the table, but obsessively ignored...this author and many like him are searching for ingeniously creative solutions from the depths of their bowels to miraculously change the situation. Another day...another stunt. Just compare our situation in 1977 when Sadat of Egypt came to Jerusalem and Turkey and Iran were our military and strategic allies, to our situation today when all three large powers are aligned against us. Can we allow ourselves ten more years down this slippery slope while ignoring the need to make a just peace with the Palestinians?
22. #13 Israeli 2. Most of Israel does think as we do.
Chaim ,   Israel   (06.29.12)
#13 Israeli 2. Polls and elections prove that most of Israel does think as we do. The problem is that a small minority of powerful leftist "elitists" in the judiciary, media and government are overruling the people. If Israel functioned as a true democracy, we would be free of the lunatic far left policies which shackle, wound and endanger us.
23. #17. Those who call Israel "apartheid" are evil losers.
Chaim ,   Israel   (06.29.12)
#17. The same creatures who call Israel "apartheid" have nothing to say about real human rights abusers like Iran, China, Syria etc. They are simply evil losers.
24. Nice try. Friend of Lieberman?
Nina ,   NYC   (06.29.12)
Sure, Israeli Arabs would willingly settle in areas that most likely would become Palestine soon, to make it easy on Lieberman and his friends to draw borders that exclude them from Israel. All for a nice house in the middle of nowhere. Btw, Jews are viewed as '5th column' by many in US. So what's your point?
25. #17 noname - you forget...
solomon ,   bklyn   (06.29.12)
that building communities only for Jews might also be construed as ‘apartheid’.
26. The idea is moronic, as is the idea of
Reuven   (06.29.12)
drafting Israeli Arabs for the IDF. Don't our leaders know that Israeli Arabs overwhelmingly hate us?
27. a two for one deal! !!getting arabs out of Israel proper
free palestine   (06.29.12)
and legitmizing the settlements
28. #5 Steve Benassi USA
macktheknife   (06.29.12)
You're still out of your mind, I see!
29. #21 Avi. Loony left policies hurt Israel.
Chaim ,   Israel   (06.29.12)
#21 Avi. Think of the deterioration in Israel's status since 1967, when the world, friends and foes alike, viewed Israel as a gutsy little naton. The decline in Israel's situation is entirely the result of Oslo, Disengagement and other lunatic leftist policies. When we stood strong, we were respected. When we started begging our defeated terrorist enemies to sign a "peace" treaty and offered them our land - the world began to look on us with contempt. No other state, in all of human history begged it's defeated enemies to sign a treaty and offered them it's land. This is historically unprecedented lunacy.
30. Poor Arabs, they dont' have any more room in 53 Arab States?
