They have been treated with respect and helped in many ways. Many moved to other countries or returned home with a good heart and respect for us. Judaism validates the sanctity of life and Israel does help many African states with medicine, doctors and surgery during times of war, famine or natural disasters. But extending a helping hand to someone in need does not mean inviting the person to conquer you.
