No, you have no "global" right to demand refugee status anywhere in the world - this is not a vacation or honeymoon trip - if states receive you or not is dependent on them accepting you or not. The reason for countries accepting you or not could be: 1) demographics. Are there too many foreigners in their country they may not want to receive more. In Israel 20% of the population is non Jewish - meaning Moslem Arabs. We don't want more non Jews in Israel. Had the non Jews constituted 1-5% of our population we might have been more generous. 2) Legality of things. You CANNOT enter a country illegally and play a victim. You have to ASK a country for permission - not break into their homes. 3) Economic issues - maybe the country has too many problems already that accepting refugees is a strain or burden to their economy. Since you care so much about democracy and human rights you should also care about Jewish human, civil and national rights. But you only care about Africans which is proof of you being a racist. Israel sends medical help, doctors, surgery teams to several African states in times of famine, drought or war. What has Eritrea done for anyone in this world? And it is not racism to deny Eritreans entry to Israel because you are no Jews, you are no citizens of Israel and you entered our country illegally. We would react the same if the illegals were Turks, Kurds, Russians, Chinese or blonde and blue eyed Scandinavians. People should not be so cruel in their comments about the Eritreans, who are mainly good, hospitable people trying to get away from the worst dictatorship and some of the worst poverty in Africa. However, Israel is already full as a refuge for Jews and to some extent for Palestinians and should not have to take in members of any other group. Instead of blaming the unfortunate Eritreans, why not push to find another home for them in the USA, Canada, Australia, Argentina, or Brazil, all prosperous, democratic countries with more land and less population density?

I never thought I would see this from Israel since they have been through so much in their history and understand first hand what discrimination and suffering means....
