Hezbollah will not retaliate. Retaliation would be suicidal. Why else do you think Hezbollah was so quick to issue a statement claiming that Israel destroyed its own surveillance equipment?

Don't expect much information about this issue. The less Hezbollah learns, the better off everyone will be.

The Lebanese reports on the origins of this device are not to be believed. If some people with nefarious intent choose to place strange devices near the borders of Israel they should realise they are playing with fire. Certain boundaries must be respected.

Hebron is in Israel, in territory captured by Israel in a self defensive war of 1967, and such is not "Palestinian" unless and until Israel trades its legal right to it in place of true peace with her neighbour. It was a city way back in Biblical times and Jewish connections predate Islam there. Stop trying to rewrite history to suit you!!!

While this is off topic it does need to be said. Allen the sad thing is that is that Islam must rewrite history in order to convince people that their distortions are truths. According to Islam, Abraham, Isaac Jacob and Moses were not Jews but Muslims. Muslims built the Temple and Muslims lived in Jerusalem even before Mohammed was born. I know it's hard to fathom but this is their belief. True belief is never based in reality. All of the Western religions have sectors with such beliefs. Hebron being in Israel is moot to these people. The Patriarchs tomb is a Mosque because they must claim any site that might prove another religion's beliefs and usurp the area. Just as the view that Hebron was conquered by Jordan in the war of 1948 and liberated in 1967 by Israel, this man must believe the reverse is true to validate himself. A sad way of living but there you go.

May I also add that Moslems believe that it was Ishmael that Abraham prepared to sacrifice, not Isaac! It does not get much more ludicrous than that.
