The Haredim ought not be drafted even their beards are a resuscitation risk pay them for computor know how a modest stipend .Rather the Secularsought to have more children the rich galus and mogul israelis ought help they have the capacity .
2. A walking Frustration,that´s Bibi.
Keren ,   IL-BR   (07.03.12)
Between Nothing and Bibi,I chose Nothing, because at least Nothing can´t do damages and holds a hope ,while Bibi is a danger without hope. With one hand this man kicks good religious Jews from their lands, giving these lands to enemies and promissing things to these Jews that he is unable to keep;with the other hand this man obeys BAD religious Jews who don´t want to defend this country and just want to keep being lazy suckers. What´s next?Give everything to enemies? Yes,because delivering Jews´ land with such an easyness and providing the country to be more and more in lack of menpower to defend the remaining, what´s the conclusion one can reach? Or Bibi is not enough clever or I don´t understand what´s going on. But I do remember he playing games(in both senses) with arab boys, and breaking his leg. Perhaps Bibi should pay attention to some signs and change directions, because the way the carriage goes,If he is kept too long being the PM,we will hear still worse bad news, that´s for sure.
3. August 1, Independence Day, equal opportunity for all
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (07.03.12)
Doing nothing, in this case, is the best thing to do, let the Tal Law expire, draft everyone, Arab, Jew, Haredi, Christian, Druze, Bedouin, everyone. Palestine Israel will be better for it, as it was with the United States.
4. IF.... IF... and only IF
Israeli 2   (07.03.12)
the Israeli Military is a detriment to Haredim, then Haredim are right not willing to serve. Up til now, Tzahal does everything to accomodate religious soldiers. Let them put a Haredic Rabbi for the Haredim if they want...but serve they must. As for the Arabs: DITTO. Not everyone in the Israeli military have to be Jewish, Haredi or religious in any way. The military is a major institution for the defence of Israel.
5. now its clear, bibi will prevent a fair law...

7. Personal example and irony
PaulZion ,   Israel   (07.03.12)
Is it not ironic that ONE HOUR before Bibi eulogised Yitzhak Shamir z"l praising him by saying that he was a leader of principle, who led by example and whose integrity and clean politics was a light unto all, he dismissed the Plesner committee, only two days before it was to publish its conclusions and recommendations? Besides the fact that he did not have the appropriate authority to do so ( the CABINET authorised the establishment of the committee and therefore only the cabinet can dissolve it), he showed by personal example that he is THE master of expedient manipulation and dirty politics.
8. reminds of 70AD
(07.03.12)
reminds of 70AD when Jews were squabbling amongst themselves and & the Roman legions easily defeated them Same today, Iran is laughing at the internal Israeli squabbles and proceeding full speed ahead with the bomb.
9. In Tel Aviv an astronomical 34.8 percent!!! of Israeli youth
