& Moslem bloc farce with no moral or legal authority
2. Insane
Devorah   (07.03.12)
How does the terrorist welfare state of "palestine" expect to be a player on the world stage when it can't even pay its bills? And they further have the cojones to request participation in U.N. arms trade talks? Is this for real? Welcome to the rabbit hole.
3. Can't have that can we?

8. #3 rouffian - heaven forfend...
solomon ,   bklyn   (07.03.12)
that Jews be allowed self-determination. Heaven forfend that you forget how many arab countries now have self-determination. Heaven forfend that Israel be allowed to protect itself from late comers to the area; those who twist history while still teaching their children its ok to kill Jews and stating that any land they get will be judenrein. Heaven forfend that history will out, that facts take the place of fairy tales.
9. seriously,you do have to give them 10/10 for sense of humour

10. One has to wonder...
M. Davison ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (07.03.12)
Was the PA trying to "get the camel's nose under the tent" in activities that are only for member states, or were they looing for leads on new suppliers?
11. I can think of several reasons why Pallys aren't welcome
William ,   Israel   (07.03.12)
First, it's a members-only meeting and just because the Pallys have UNESCO membership (which contradicts the UN's own charter) they think they have access to everyone and everything, at will. Wrong! Second, the ICJ made it very clear in May - "Palestine" is NOT a recognized State. End. If Pallys want to push this, then I suggest there be room at the UN table for Kurds, Basques, Tamils, Aboriginals, and Western Saharans. Finally, this is a discussion about global arms trades through legal means. It affects ONLY sovereign nations and those who supply/purchase arms. Everyone knows the "Palestinians" smuggle their illegal weapons in and use them for war crimes so regardless of the outcome of this meeting, they will not be directly affected. Probably the reason why Nasrallah and Mashaal weren't invited either.
12. PA seeks role in UN
ltrail ,   United States   (07.03.12)
The PA tries to assert ifself everywhere; just like a bully or mafia. Within the PA, hamas and Fatah are criminal gangs with gang killings among themselves. So, in other words, the PA and the palestinians are not a nation state. The palestinians are not capable of behaving in a manner that demonstrates responsibility as governors of their own destiny.
