As a Christian and a student of the Bible for some four decades, I can confirm that the professing Christians within the body of the Church of England do NOT represent all Christians. Their refusal to accept the Jewish root(s) of Christianity, and the literal interpretation of the Hebrew-Christian Scriptures is testament to, and often foundational to much 'Christian anti-Semitism', which has been the cause of so much suffering over the last two thousand years. The same 'church' body has departed from many Biblical standards in a host of areas including that pertaining to morality, the priesthood and gays. Romans chapter 1 outlines much of this practice. I would respectfully direct all interested persons to the website of Christian Friends of Israel, either in the UK or elsewhere. The difference will astound you.

Will the Church of England be sending persons to Sderot to 'experience life' under rocket fire from the Palestinians who they have decided to cling to? No, I doubt if that would be expedient to their agenda. Will the Church of England be expressing concern at how the Christian population in Palestinian areas is decreasing rapidly, as is the number of Churches in the Christian bedrock of Bethlehem, where they are being replaced by mosques? No, that would not be expedient to their agenda either. Their agenda has nothing to do with religion or Hebrew/Christian teaching. It is political and utterly disproportionate; a policy which has anti-Semitic undertones. Legitimate criticism of Israel is not in itself anti-Semitic, but when it dominates the proceedings at the expense of others, then there is clearly a case to answer. And the Church of England definitely has a case to answer here.

Stop kidding yourselves. The Anglican church is NOT your friend. Believe me, I was there, right inside. They would not allow me to announce "Prayer for the Peace of Israel Day" but it goes deeper. The poor souls who remain and fight on are fighting a losing battle. It is the same church which was behind the botched "Mandate on Palestine" and chucked the Jews out of England centuries ago.

How is it any different from English synagogs financing these groups? I'm not really sure why foreign groups paying to send groups of foreigners here to learn one - sided views about this conflict is news - both Jews and Arabs have been doing it for a very, very long time now, and on both sides there have been groups much bigger than the Church of England doing it.

The Church of England should do some rethinking. Let it try to build a church in any Arab country and it will have real trouble.

many fundementals church in England has served almost emptied pews with elders still hanging on, the youth has either turn liberal christians or simply Justin Bieber worshipers instead. infact radicals in mosques are more vibrant than christians in churches. the Divines paid with their blood, died not seeing the fire of the Reform Faith in their Golden Age in England... now the Reformation Fire is dying....
