1. "Peace" Now is CRAZY!
Ashdod Geroge ,   Ashdod   (07.05.12)
First, the area is under Israeli security control--the soldiers had every right to be there. Second, Peace Now claims no security escort was needed, but the soldiers' lives were "needlessly endangered". Any Israeli traveling into a Palestinian settlement needs protection. Third, there is nothing ideological about Jewish history in Judea and Samaria.
2. Peace now
Hertzel ,   Tveria   (07.05.12)
When are these wacos going to learn the nature of the enemy? Maybe they would delight in the fact that this jewish "settler" (as they call him) would have been butchered by palestinians first, and I assure you they will not make one negative comment (even than) about the criminal terrorist that had killed him....
3. All of Judea and Samaria belongs to Israel.
Chaim ,   Israel   (07.05.12)
Jews are the legitimate legal owners of all of Judea and Samaria. It is ridiculous to pretend "Palestinian" poseurs own any part of our sole tiny Homeland. We must forever claim what is ours.
4. No justified reason for Geraldo's visit..
Orly ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (07.05.12)
... and certainly not an IDF escort. If he "must" come here he can bring his own security.
5. to #4 the archyology is state institute,
ghostq   (07.05.12)
so the state need to protect it's members. his visit is very justifyed, as we saw allready palis destroy artifacts, even in the temple mount they thowe to the city dumpster 2200 year old relics.
6. How can we tell when Surrender Now is lying?
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (07.05.12)
By reading anything they have ever published. Yes the IDF does have the right under the Oslo Accords to go into Area 'B' whenever they want and go wherever they deem it necessary. That is lie one and two. And of course non-Muslims do need protection from the terrorists - lie three. Patrolling uncontrolled terrorist territory is important for all of Israel - lie four.
7. Spatial?
Jeff ,   Modi'in, Israel   (07.05.12)
What is a "spatial" brigade?
8. #3 How can Palestine be yours....
Robert ,   Australia   (07.05.12)
.....when the vast majority of Israelis are of European stock?
9. Peace Now should be treated as a foreign agent
bernard ross   (07.05.12)
who fronts for organizations and nations against the jews. Their name is false advertising.
10. #8...have you ever heard of
Yaron ,   USA   (07.05.12)
history and what brought the majority of the world's Jewish population to be of EURO stock? Have you ever heard of the Romans? How 'bout the Crusades? If not, are you familiar with the Ottomans? Please save your ignorance for your own rape and enslavement of your indigenous population....k, maty? The reason there is even talk of a Palestinian state is solely due to Israeli pragmatism. If they wanted to they could squash these people if they wanted to....or worse yet, treat them like they treat each other. They don't accept another arab terror state for any other reason than they are tired of killing these hateful bigoted folks. Sorry if this doesn't fit with your politically correct world view.
11. Oslo accord is dead..
Beary White ,   Norway   (07.05.12)
The pals made unilateral moves to the UN and thereby the accord is not valid any longer.
12. #8 Robert
Michael ,   Jerusalem   (07.05.12)
Robert, keep repeating your lies, but that wont change the facts. Aside from the FACT that Israel is the historical home of all Jews, the vast majority of present Jewish Israelis are not of "European stock" as you claim. The major ethnic group is Sephardic/Mizrahi Jews, like my family, who were kicked out of Iraq after over 1000 years, and were forced to leave behind all their property and possessions.
13. to #7: Space invaders.
Marvin Strauss ,   Berlin & Germany   (07.05.12)
"Binyamini" are the very small ones.
14. #8 If I follow you
Jorge ,   Israel/USA/Argentina   (07.05.12)
most of the palestinian are descendent of the Arabs that fled Israel; therefore the only palestinian suppose are the Arabs in the Samaria and Judea. Bottom line there are not palestenian because they are Arabs stock. In the other hand you need to go back yo England unless your are a native from Australia. Hypocrite huh?
15. #8 Robert
moshe ,   Tivon, Israel   (07.05.12)
Robert Australia belongs to the aborignes, and Australians newcomers are of European stock ! Further even a sober Australian will not deny that the Australian public are newcomers to Australia with NO heritage in Australia.. The Jews have an ancient claim to the land of Israel. Though in Israel we have no aborignes, we do have a large Arab population that may claim 100 or 200 years of history in Israel compared to 1,000's of years of Jewish history. But wars change everything. The winner takes all. moshe
16. Robert...
Someone   (07.05.12)
I absolutely agree with you! "Palestine" isn't ours. We prefer to have a real country-Israel. We dont need to invent something as those arabs do. Sad enough that you believe their lies. But hey- occupying a country that's something that "australians" are kinda familiar with! ;)
17. Yahudah (Judea)
RC ,   USA   (07.05.12)
Yahudah (Judea) is named after the Yahudim (Jews), the tribe of Judah. Only real ignorant nitwits do not understand this. Part of the blame falls on the Israeli media for calling it the West Bank instead of its proper Jewish name. The Palestinians and Muslims have been trying to change history but they cannot undo what the Holy Bible states; Amos 9:14-15, Ezekial 34:11-13. YAHUWAH has planted Israel where it belongs and no one will uproot them again, even under the pretense of a false peace.
18. #8 Question
ltrail ,   United States   (07.05.12)
I'll try to answer your question in a way that you might understand: 1. G-d of Israel gave Abraham, Issac, and Jacob that land mass. 2. History proves that Jews inhabited that land, in various degrees of population, since milleniums ago. 3. Though the land mass was over-run by Israel's enemies from time-to-time, Jews managed to be victorious over all. 4. Judea and Samaria are owned and occupied by the Jewish State of Israel.

How can Australia be yours.....
20. no comprendo
ramon machtesh ,   galutnya, tefutsotst   (07.05.12)
How is Israel supposed to maintain security without security forces? The question is, what was an Israeli doing there, on land under civilian "Palestinian" control. Tzahal generally requires permits and an escort, even to holy places like Betlechem, Shchem. The answer is probably documenting the sites before the "Palestinians" destroy it, but why let him in? Why is he so special? Oh, and "spatial" or "special"? Like "martial" and "marital", two similar words that mean very different things.
21. Kever Yosef
Leah Goldsmith ,   Itamar Israel   (07.05.12)
Yes- we have seen how the arabs have granted" full access" to our ancient and most holy sites- i.e. Kever Yosef, Kever Itamar and Elazar and the list goes on of atrocities, pillages, burnings and desecration of our most precious landmarks that survived Time UNTIL the Oslo "Peace Accords". An archeologist's job is to connect the present with the past and that is the point here- This always has been Israel and is Israel and will be Israel. No amount of slanted reports can change reality. But the arabs do these things to THEIR OWN holy sites too as we have witnessed this week at the tombs of many Islamic shrines in Timbuktu. I wish y net would stop portraying the Jewish people as a Salah-a-Din or a Richard the Lionheart on a crusade and just give some honor where honor is due. Judea and Samaria are the heart and soul of Israel.
22. #8 Apparently you are too dumb to learn
Sidney ,   USA   (07.05.12)
Most Ashenazi Jews, like me, who have had there DNA tested trace back to the land of Israel, not Europe.
23. By Oslo free access to Joseph's tomb
Ilan   (07.05.12)
But in practice no access w/o army escort

30. Oh, homeland
observer ,   Egypt   (07.08.12)
A princedom called Israel came to existence in 800 BC, and it had no relation to the ‘Jews’ who appeared a millennium later. The native dwellers of Palestine were called “Palestinians” by Herodotes in 5th century BC, 2500 years before (modern) Israeli statehood; but Herodotes never heard of Jews, though he walked across the whole land. Jews appeared three hundred years later. Ethnic purity? Almost half of the Jews are Khazar converts, their homeland is thousand mile away in Georgia.
