Lawyers are renowned for their ability to write a case for just about anything. A case for legalizing rape makes as much sense as legalizing the illegal settlements.

Thank goodness . I was beginning to think that the Israeli left power brokers and J street were smoking all of Obamas hash.... Nice to see an injection of historical reality . and by the way Moses was not Muslim, sorry, 21 centuries before mohamed.

The USS LIBERTY was a sigint (signals interceptor) vessel, deliberately sent off the coast of Israel when it became evident that Israel was going to hand the Arabs a massive defeat. Egypt had already been crushed, and Jordan and Syria were losing badly. The USS LIBERTY was charged with the task of intercepting Israeli military communications; the content of those communications were promptly relayed to the Jordanian and Syrian military high commands. That is why the USS LIBERTY was blown out of the water. I defy you to name one country that would have acted any differently. Then again, the United States wimped out the following year with respect to the USS PUEBLO. Had North Korea tried a stunt like that against Israel, North Korea would have ceased to exist.

It is a great verdict for the inhabitants of the west bank, all of them, I mean, now that the land is all Israeli, there should be no problem in extending citizenship rights to all who reside there regardless of ethnicity, right ? Most of the Arabs of the West Bank have never lived under any other sovereign but Israel so now the shall be citizens, what a great day for human rights
