1. The Supreme Court has been LYING to the people for 45 years!
The truth has set ,   you FREE   (07.09.12)
Because their OPINION is not supported by International Law. Their rulings were pure leftist judicial activism and reflected only their personal political desires. I believe they were also paid off by leftist organizations, governments and people who mistakenly thought that their will could be bought. Sorry corrupt evil and greedy haters of Israel. The truth always wins.
2. Implement Now
Eli s ,   toronto   (07.09.12)
Finally I do not have to read a leftist report denouncing Jewish rights. Implement it now
3. The real question is -
Zev ,   Israel   (07.09.12)
Will the government use this ruling as the basis for a new policy or will they continue the left's political agenda.
4. if..
daniela ,   panama   (07.09.12)
Israel will have always to think about the international ramification of what we do, we should be still in camps or be pushed to the sea. I think its time Israel realizes that and start being the state we are supposed to be: a homeland of the jews in the place we were given by G-d. (and this includes Yehuda and Shomron). So.. Yasher Koach to the Levy report.. now, its time to work.
5. Finally JUSTICE
Bad Ased Jew ,   United States   (07.09.12)
This finding is long overdue. The states bipolar treatment of these families has become unbearable for them and all Jews everywhere. Tearing down homes and displacing the Jewish families is a sin perpetuated by the state's inability ( so far ) to have dominion over her land- as does every other nation on earth. It has sent the wrong impression that somehow, Jews will deny their inheritance, the land of Israel. it is all we possess or want to possess. It is our eternal home. The holy Land. Who else will keep it holy if not us? This finding assure us that there will be an end to this succumbing to the wishes of gentiles who have hated Jews from before time was measured. I know of no other nation who has fought harder or longer than has Israel to make a blooming desert from a swamp also infested by people whose only goal is to destroy the Jews, Israel and Israeli's. I hope this puts an end to the wretched mistreatment of the settlers who, like American's, ( and many other nations) who are the ones who tame, toil, and who husband and care for the land. It is your land. Treat it as the prize possession G-d gave you, The Promised Land. No other nation has gone though more identities than has Israel when it comes to the use of her own land. End the insanity, BUILD BABY BUILD! NEVER AGAIN!!!! NEVER FORGET!!!!
6. ICC is not recognized by USA or Israel
Frank ,   USA   (07.09.12)
as neither nation has agreed to give it any jurisdiction over . This,Sasoon mentions of ICC has no bearing on Israel. Besides read Lord CArdogan and Us Supreme Court Goldberg -who wrote US SC Resolution 242. Both declare Israel has right to Judea and Shomron
7. Settlements not illegal
jay abouaf ,   Jaffa, Israel   (07.09.12)
The "settlements" and outposts are not illegal, not immoral and do nothing to hinder the " Peace Process" We have every right to live anywhere we want in Israel; and that includes the lands conquered in (defensive) wars. Moreover, the Arab world today and yesterday and tomorrow is one of religious bigotry and social inequality, enforced poverty (due to systematic corruption); they are not fit to rule a country; and they don't deserve to.
8. Peace ONLY via BALANCE, balance ONLY via SECURE BIG ISRAEL.
Jerry ,   The Netherlands   (07.09.12)
9. wishy washy government
Marcel ,   Florida   (07.09.12)
'Justice Levy criticized the "lack of clear government direction and policy" in regards to West Bank settlements.' What do expect from Israeli government prostituites whose only ambition is to preform for their Washington pimps of no peace ?
10. lets get this one state rolling
abdalla   (07.09.12)
11. Land
X   (07.09.12)
Jews are interested only on the palestinian lland and resources. Not a word about the people leaving there. With this report more settlers will sttele. At the there Will be no possibility for a. palestinian state. And that is Israel's end. To start PA must dismantle.
12. If Bibi accepts this Israel will be an ARAB majority state
zionist forever   (07.09.12)
Whilst Jerusalem & the Golan were annexed Judea & Samaria was intentionally never annexed because that meant we inherited millions of arabs. Just like we had to offer citizenship to the Druze of the Golan we would have to offer it to the arabs in Judea & Samaria if we annex that and saying Jews have a legal right to build all over is as good as an annexation. Its going to create alot of friction in America & Europe. America tolerates some limited settlement building but we say we can build anywhere and there will be hell to pay, like it or not we need to keep the US happy. Its going to cost us a fortune because once small outposts become legal it means the army is going to have to protect them and that costs millions. What is the point with the settlement obsession? Right now property prices are so expensive in Israel because of the ghetto like culture with secular Jews concentrated on the coast, religious in cities like Jerusalem and arabs in the north. If just some of those people who are in the small settlements because they are idealists moved to the north it would result in regional growth and encourage businesses to locate their which brings jobs. The settlers could be serving a purpose to benefit the country but instead they are just an annoyance. Lets build settlements yes but expand the big ones so the connect territorialy to Israel so no politicians can ever give it up and also settlements in tactically important place. If Bibi goes with this Levy committee then Arafat will be smiling in his grave because Bibi will have done what he never could and turn Israel into an arab majority binational state.
13. Cannot have it all ways
Avramele   (07.09.12)
If Israel is not an occupying force than Palestinians in the territory must be granted full civil and political rights including the return of Private lands confiscated under rules of occupation by the military. We are rushing to a one state solution that will undermine both Israeli democracy and the Jewish character of the Zionist enterprise. Shortsided, stupid and against our interests.
14. A STRATEGIC VICTORY !
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (07.09.12)
15. The government must make clear what it wants
Yael Schlichting ,   Qiryat Motzkin   (07.09.12)
Not more and not less! Does Israel see Yehuda and Shomron as Jewish heartland or as the territory as a future Arab state of Palestine? Does Israel want to assign Arabs their genuine responsibility for the situation and for the wars in the past or does Israel want to take the Responsibility itself? One thing is clear: It was the Arab leadership who didn't want Arabs to live together with Jews in a Jewish state. And the Arab peoples need to take responsibility for their leaders. This is the bitter truth! Hence I see no other way but making them clear, that there can only be a Jewish state between the Jordan river and the Mediterraneane sea. We must not allow the historic facts to be denied! We must not allow the Arabs, to every stateless of whatever origin, to be labelled Palestinian.
16. Amen. End ALL racist restrictions on Judea/Samaria building.
Chaim ,   Israel   (07.09.12)
Finally the truth has leaked out in a big way. Israel's Supreme Court has been revealed as absolute liars. Judea and Samaria are OURS! Now and forever. It's time to permanently end all racist restrictions on Jewish building on our land.
17. #12. Your argument is based on fictional statistics.
Chaim ,   Israel   (07.09.12)
#12. Your argument is based on fictional statistics issued by the P.A., and Israeli leftists, to frighten Israel into ceding our land. In fact, Jews are a growing majority in Israel, including Judea and Samaria. This has been proven by countless American and Israeli studies. Since when does a nation cede it's land out of fear of "friction"? Pathetic. Judea and Samaria belong to Israel now and forever.
18. We have been saying this for decades
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (07.09.12)
Now - deport the Jordanian and Egyptian colonists that are illegally occupying our lands. We do not have to give a damn thing to non-citizens. We signed peace treaties with both Jordan and Egypt and both of them illegally left their colonists on our lands.
19. #18 - How do you propose "deporting"
spyguy ,   seattle usa   (07.09.12)
millions of humans without setting off a massive war? Can you guarantee that Israel would win that massive war? Hint:ALL armies eventually suffer humiliating defeat and the same will happen to the IDF. Once the IDF is defeated, then what? Do you really think the US will be able to protect Israel if it tries to deport millions? Your hubris is going to get lots of Israelis killed and will probably lead to the end of Israel.
20. There seems to be lack of logic
exUK ,   TEl Aviv   (07.09.12)
How can the Israeli Governments since 1967,encourage and subsidize our citizens to live on the West Bank, initially for strategic(so called) reasons, then economic reasons, then religious reasons, the reasons forever changing and expanding,THEN decide after 45 years,to "find a way to make it legal" However much wishful thinking in the country, allied to biblical references,no-one else on the planet will recognize our 'new' law. It will only lead to a one state solution,if that is OK then carry on! Otherwise, whatever label you wish to attach to the Arab village residents there, there are 3rd generation families who have been born there. They do not choose their parents or their place of birth. And I'm sure that many go back for generations.long before our new immigrants decided to settle there with the blessings of our government. This does not make me leftist, antizionist or anything other than a realist!
21. What will happen to the Arabs
Lucas   (07.09.12)
Transfer them out of israel. They will become citizens (not quite full citizenship). The still won't be able to buy land. The vote should be taken away from the Arabs, because they could become the majority. Or the Toah could be followed, Jews are promised 2,800 servants (gentiles) to serve them.
22. Thou shalt settle the Land!
Benny ,   Iran   (07.09.12)
This is God's will & order that the Jewish Nation shall settle their land. No fake Pal or Euro anti-Semites can stand in the way. It was mandated in the Balfour Declaration of 1920 in San Remo. Jordan & Britain illegally usurped what 51 countries gave the Jews. It was an act of evil treachery by the Brits!
23. #12 another problem
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (07.09.12)
In addition to #17's excellent argument, there is another issue. The "Arab majority" is a red herring. All Arab leaders have stated that the "Right of Return" is the minimal requirement for any agreement. In other words, even if the Arab leaders agreed that living Jews could live in Israel, they would demand the right to flood whatever land was left to the Jews with foreign Arabs. The real argument isn't between "big land with arab majority" and "small land with arab minority" but "small land with defensible borders" or "tiny land with indefensible borders and flooded with hostile Arab immigrants demanding handouts"
24. re: #7 The Arab Jew
Cali Cal ,   Los Angeles, CA   (07.09.12)
These religious bigots took you in when Spain and Portugal were burning your people at the stake and you repay them by stealing Palestine. Why should your people be trusted anywhere?
25. #24 What?!
babawawa ,   new york, usa   (07.09.12)
The Arabs allows us into their countries in 1492 for economic reasons, not because they loved us and wanted to save us. And they threw us out whenever it suited them. So what do we have to be grateful for exactly? That they didn't gas us? The land of Israel belongs to the Jews. We didn't have to steal it from anyone.
26. #19 simple minded
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (07.09.12)
The way the police ethnically cleanse Jews works for Arabs too. As for the massive war - what else is new - we have fought many by the same people and they declared goal was our genocide. We neither need or want you do a damn thing. If you stop arming the Fascists then we won't require and aid at all.
27. Equally how to deport settlers?
Rubey ,   Montgomery, Alabama   (07.09.12)
And how do you propose all of the hundreds of thousands, soon to be millions, of settlers will be deported?
28. 17
Zionist forever   (07.09.12)
In Judea & Samaria there are about 2.5 - 3 million Arabs and if we annex that land which eventually we will have to do if the Levy Report is passed we will have to give those Arabs Israeli citizenship. Maybe they won't outnumber the Jews overnight but you add the 1 million Israeli Arabs into the equasion and the fact that traditionally arabs have more children than secular Jews you give it 10 - 20 year and the Arabs will be running the show. Do we want to lose the whole country so a bunch of idealists can build all over Judea & Samaria? The world will also not stand by and let us do it and pretty soon we will face South Africa style sanctions and eventually even the US will have to get involved. We have to gave reality here. We should be building tactically in Judea & Samaria and developing the north, What Levy is proposing Is stage 1 to the binational state which the PLO really want
29. #18
Jonathan ,   MN/US   (07.09.12)
Small problem "Deportation or forcible transfer of population" is defined as a crime against humanity by the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (Article 7)
30. #19 - if such a war against the IDF were easy, win-able
William ,   Israel   (07.09.12)
don't you think it would have been attempted already? No nation has officially taken up war against Israel, even as a collective, since 1973. That's pretty telling. However, there's no real need to push for "deportation" of Arabs from Jewish lands. Simply enforcing laws under the Geneva Convention that calls annexation of land and immigration of foreigners to that land (which occurred in 1949 through 1967 by Jordan) is a war crime, illegal, and must be reversed. That being said - we're now dealing with "repatriation" not "deportation". Now - are all the Arab lands ready to go to war against the West and the UN because of their disagreement with Intl Law? Wouldn't be the first time, but I don't recall them winning, either.
