In the UK , once a person has been charged,it is not allowed to write about,accuse,surmise or try that person in the newspapers,It is sub judice.So how can Israeli newspapers be allowed to write what they wrote about Olmert,in minute detail,along with his assistant young lady,as if it IS all signed sealed and delivered? I always say "innocent until proven guilty," but can judges be trusted to prove anything? Certainly, statistically speaking in view of the many wrong judgments that have been revealed, society can not trust judges, not for a traffic ticket and not for this verdict on Olmert. A jury system, in which peers return the verdict, is better, but juries have been wrong many times also. The fact of the matter is, there are no such things as "truth" and "justice" in a legal system. Attorneys are the greatest usurpers to their own advantage of the legal system. They eventually become judges, or politicians, and continue usurping the system. Nothing can be done about it, unfortunately, except for staying clean and avoiding them.
