1. Alann sherman, where are you when we need you?
bob ,   potomac md usa   (07.11.12)
Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah, Here I am at Camp Jihadah
2. walking on nails is a indu ritual, so much
ghostq   (07.11.12)
for pali original respect for other people cultures.
3. These people are pathetic.....
Dan ,   Tel-Aviv   (07.11.12)
For all those who constantly whine about Israel stifling Gaza's economy, maybe these people should focus more on jobs and basic governance rather than this idiotic summer camp. This is just of many examples of a failed society.
4. They get 3 meals a day, exercise, and a chance to pray?
Eric ,   Tel Aviv & NY   (07.11.12)
Palestinian prisoners get it much better than their relatives in Gaza. Prisoners of Palestinians on the other hand live in a hole and get bad conditions - look at how they kept Gilad
5. Disgusting!
8th Generation Sabra   (07.11.12)
6. Give them the worse part: free education
.   (07.11.12)
Great! Stepping on nails is a good part. Give them the worst part! Give them (like it is in the prisons) Free University education and karate classes like your martyrs get. Hope kids will loose some of the Hamas attitude: smart people create less problems. Stupid do!
7. Are they giving them College courses too?
BRL ,   Israel   (07.11.12)
8. SICK
Jewish Patriot ,   Galut   (07.11.12)
And they teach their children for hate...no wonder they will be murderers of sleeping families, like in Itamar...very sick...that is the difference. We teach our children to respect others and for love, while most of the "Palestinians" teach them for eternal hatred.
9. LOL
Cameron ,   USA   (07.11.12)
Can only grin at the thought of Arab wankers spending the summer walking over rusty nails and blades under the hot sun. Worthy exercises for the upcoming generation of Koranic fanatics. No wonder you are forced to keep that ridiculous lot penned up in Gaza.
10. No. 1 Bob
NYC Girl   (07.11.12)
Good one. That song was a classic...especially to those of us who ever went to sleep away camp.
11. What a SICK Society
exUK ,   Tel Aviv   (07.11.12)
Last year the UN provided'nice activities' ,and Hanas wrecked abd torched the camps and schools. We should get red cross and UN to inspect OUR prisons, document conditions, activities and report back tpo the Gazan inhabitants. We give education, they just spread hatred. Sad and sick.,
12. Bet you have to get there and queue the day before
Talula ,   Israel   (07.11.12)
Why doesn't this news make it to mainstream media, such as SKY and BBC?
13. #1, #10...Ohh...I missed something...!
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (07.11.12)
14. Sounds like s great 'summer camp' if
Bad Ased Jew ,   United States   (07.11.12)
your kids are yearning to be a jihadist. Walking on nails? Isn't that an east Indian carnival trick?Whatever happened to swimming, running, games? I cannot image a worse case of child abuse than the pals keep alive by using kiddies as combatants. Who sends their kids here the parents of Attilla the hun?
15. Dilemma
Daniel ,   Belgium   (07.11.12)
At first, I wanted to see these children's faces and their complete disillusions, when they would see the actual conditions in Israeli prisons, so they would see how their "martyr heroes" really live. But then, I figured out that this would be much more benefic for the Hamas terrorist operations and the organization's enrollment, since everyone would like to get caught by the Israeli security forces and to go in a 5* all-inclusive free spa resort, which we call prison. I honestly think that it's unacceptable for the Israeli State to pay so much for the terrorist, after all, they are supposed to be jailed and not on vacation. The government would better use that money to help the thousands of social protesters who actually deserve it!

Arnold ,   Canada   (07.11.12)
In the 60's a singer by the name of Alan Sherman sang a song about a child who wrote home whining about his experiences at sleep away camp.
17. Summer camp
niki ,   israel   (07.11.12)
My kids just like to play some football at summercamp.....
18. Summer camps in Gaza
patrizia lerco ,   Venice, Italy   (07.11.12)
Where are Save the Children, Unicef and other organizations for the protection of infancy?. These Gazan children are robbed of their innocence and abused in their souls. Hamas wants to raise the future terrorists for a never ending spiral of violence. The EU taxpayers are the major donors forPalestinians. It is time EU links these donations to an obligatory modicum of civilization.
19. Prison Camp
Uncas ,   Nigeria   (07.11.12)
That was beautiful. But how come Hamed is imprisoned and accused of murdering dozens of jews, while Israel can invade either the West bank,Gaza or Lebanon, kill tens of thousands of civilians and get a hearty clap on the back?
20. Another drama camp
Aviela ,   Migron, Israel   (07.11.12)
To go with the hundreds of drama camps around the world every summer vacation. If that's your thing, have a ball.
21. To: Cameron at No. 9
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (07.11.12)
Amen. Can you imagine launching that sick and depraved lot on civilization?
22. To: Bob at No. 1
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (07.11.12)
Muddah, faddah, please disregard this lettah! Oh, thank you for my best laugh of the day!
23. Child Abuse, pure and simple
Israeli grandma   (07.11.12)
And where are the UNWRA and all these lavishly funded organisations supposedly improving the life of the Gaza children?
24. As a parent of a Gazan child...
oz ,   USA   (07.11.12)
I'd want to know...do they get to do Arts and Crafts before or after Solitary? And what about snack? The kids will probably be hungry after demonstrating "firm resilience in the face of Israeli interrogators' threats and their refusal to admit the charges ascribed to them". Is snack pita, hummus and juice or something something more like Lunchables?? Those are pretty unhealthy.
25. Prisoners Summer Camp
Alex ,   Johannesburg, SA   (07.11.12)
It's a total jihad experience. First comes suicide bomber training and if you somehow survive that you get to spent time in an Israeli prison. For lucky students you could be one of a thousand to be exchanged for one Israeli prisoner. Invaluable training for all budding jihadis.
26. To Dan of Tel Aviv:
Sandra ,   Ramat Gan, Israel   (07.11.12)
As much as this may be an example of a failed society to anyone with half a brain, to the leftist do-gooders of the civilized world, this is part of their Bible, simply because the Palestinians say so.
27. No. 13 Chris
NYC Girl   (07.11.12)
You can find it on You Tube. The name of the song is "Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah" sung by Alan Sherman. I think you'll find it very amusing...whether or not you ever went to sleep away camp.
28. They would be better off gardening.
Nick Sporek ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (07.11.12)
29. #19 uncas - easy answer
solomon ,   bklyn   (07.11.12)
Because you have no idea of what you are talking about, or you do but you ignore facts. 1. Israel has always attacked after getting bombarded with rockets, suicide bombers, etc. They incarcerate any terrorists (aka murderers) that they catch. This is called defending your country. (Look up the word “defend”.) 2. Your number “tens of thousands of civilians” is both patently and blatently false (look up those words as well). You show your blind hatred with your post, and you expect to be taken seriously? LOL.
30. Is UNICEF still alive?
marucho ,   Bs. Aires-Argentina   (07.11.12)
Isn´t this all a matter in which the UNICEF should take action? I can´t understand why it doesn´t. Or can I?
