A large amount of Christians read and study about the Jewish traditions/cultures to have a better understanding and love for Israel. Will an act like this set us back a few or more centuries? Paul, who wrote much of the New Testament, was a Pharisee of the Tribe of Benjamin. The New Testament killed no one. While I agree that there is NO reason for people to mass mail new testaments to others, your statement was just as divisive & self-isolating as what this Knesset member did. I am a Christian and thankful to be one, however, as I have stated on these pages many times, for another to attempt to cram their religion down the throat of another that has shown no previous interest is wrong. There are MANY parts of Christian history that I am ashamed of but many people say & do things out of ignorance & insensitivity. The response from Christians to MK Ben Ari's actions will be unlike Muslims when the Koran is insulted in their eyes. What a sick action! The best friends and staunches supporters that Israel has in the United States are the Evangelical Christians and other similar conservative church groups.
