I can tell you that no harm is done to the child when he is circomsized at 8 days. Here the pain is practically reduced to none. In most of cases after 24 hours the small wound is completaly closed. In these 24 hours verification and anthiobitics are used to avoid infections. There is no harm done. I havent herd of Jews or anybody that has had a circumsition that they are lacking in performing sexually after they have been circumsized. Why not at 13 which is what muslims do. So you come with the stupid idea that 14 years is the best time why? The healing at 14 is more painfull and longer than the healing at 8 days. So your opinion frankly is very stupid To make a custom which is being applied with no problems for more than 4000 years just disapear only because some stupid christians don't undestand tje seriousness this custom represents for Judaism. God, it's so sickening to hear people complaining about circumcision. I and millions of other American boys are circumcised, Jewish or not. It's probably the norm here. And we are all FINE. In fact, I hear alot of comments that women here prefer men who have been circumcised. While infants rarely have erections, a pubescent male has them frequently, both voluntarily and involuntarily. Each and every erection is capable of re-opening the circumcision wound, causing bleeding, discomfort, hindering healing and increasing the risk of infection many times over. I've only met two people in my lifetime who were circumcised after puberty and both of them wished they had done it earlier-- as infants. Follow this path and we'll see a day when appendectomies will have to wait until the child reaches adulthood, because the parent deciding is "a violation of the child's rights". Firstly if you're riddled with STD's, you probably shouldn've be having sex in the first place, you should go to a doctor. And as far as some of these men probably needing a psychiatrist, there was no better example than the guy in New York who was so convinced that his circumcision was negatively impacting his sexual performance that he was tying bricks to the head of his penis in an attempt to stretch the skin in order to compensate for the missing foreskin. And that being the case, should we even be surprised if this neurotic twit thinks the reason he can't get a woman is because he was circumcised?

I would love to quote you some of the negative things I've heard even my non-Jewish girlfriends say on the subject of having sex with men who aren't circumcised....but I probably wouldn't make it past the censors.
