Well, this guy should guess that it wasn't an Israeli show because he was able to punch the woman. In an Israeli show, his legs should be broken just before raising his hands. In an arab show, the woman's life is at risk with this kind of jokes.

These egyptians express their patriotist by hating Israel. This is not patriotism, it is brainwashed people with low self esteem. Patriotism is love for their country, not hate of foreign country.

Their obsessive focus on their little neighbor to the northeast and their lack of any personal responsibility and accountability with keep their society well-behind. We should just smile as we continue to press on.

1. It's somewhat comforting to see how poor the Egyptian humor is. Tells a lot about the country itself, and from what I see Israel has nothing to fear from Egypt. Nothing sophisticated is bound to come out of that country that could pause a threat. 2. This sketch shows, again, how not very clever the Egyptians are if they think anyone in Israel knows or cares who the Egyptian actors are (except maybe for Israeli Arabs who as a whole are not exactly Zionists anyway). So the idea that an Israeli channel will be interested in making a program with them is quite absurd.

you think this is only now or connected to the imaginary occupation? No, this is part of Arab society. It is taught, it is reinforced. it is encouraged, and that is the reason peace is not up to us and never has been.

With all the problems in Egypt, the hatefull obsession with Israel continues---and to think the Peace Treaty has only been of benefit to them...but shows like this demonstate that the need to hate Israel dominates every facet of Egyptian life-quite extraorindary!

At one point they identify themselves as Channel 2 Israel. Could Channel 2 sue them for misrepresentation?

IT'S WHAT HAPPENS to a healthy mind when it only reads one religious biased hate filled book. Just because Egyptians can read does'nt mean they can understand their own bigotry, anti-semitism, muslim extremist spin, and the absolute lies perped by Irant.

Greetings Arnaldo, you live in a great city. I agree with you about religion. This segment was just not funny, but disturbing. And apparently hitting women is not frowned upon in Egypt.

These were almost all very secular, educated looking, well groomed Egyptians. With a hair-trigger rage behind a fake veneer of calm. This is less about Islam, and a lot more about basic education.

With viewers like you, I can see why the show is so popular.
