1. For a change, Barak is right! 100%
Reuven   (07.25.12)
2. A weak non-entity
Remarque   (07.25.12)
Has not done anything yet to assuage Israel's risks, in fact by his soft touch does the opposite every day.
3. Barak is exactly correct.
DEB ,   Wash DC   (07.25.12)
It will be far less challenging to hit Iran's important nuclear and military targets now than facing the unknown from Iran's having nuclear capability with the evil, mad-men in power there. Don't forget about the Bushehr reactor and hidden reprocessing. A non-explosive kinetic device or two should do it w/o spread of much contamination. It looks like Gantz is like the ex US ch of staff- doesn't want to get his uniform dirty.
4. STRIKE Iran NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (07.25.12)

News for you Oh Israel. If your gunna strike. It might well as be now or never!
7. The EU won't mind HHezbollah getting the chemical weapons!!
Harry Wright ,   UK   (07.26.12)
The EU does not think Hezbollah is a terrorist organisation. They want another Holocaust - one was not enough. That will make Catherine Ashton, the goodly Baroness of Upholland, very happy.
8.  Iran is a difficult number
sam ,   cairo   (07.26.12)
I think that Iran is a difficult number in the region and to strike Iran at this time, the Arab spring will be danger of comprehensive war on Israel to and do think that it is not in favor of one these devastating war
9. Come on Israel strike Iran
Moragh   (07.26.12)

13. Barak are you on hormones or delusional?
Steve ,   Israel   (07.26.12)
We can not deal with with a fire on a hill in the Carmel, how we going to deal with rockets on middle class TA and surrounds Is this just another attempt to try and blind us to more fundamentalist economic burdens

Ehud ,   Tel-Aviv, Israel   (07.26.12)
No hormone therapy , but loads of Viagra.
17. Barak possible strike
Floriane ,   Israel   (07.26.12)
I believe this is certainly a good and expected response. While we are waiting anxiously it is also time to mentally and physically prepare. Gear, food etc.. And possibly be recruited as a volunteer in some kind. Noone could say that there was no ample warning and act surprised
18. War also not enough, much more needed
Istvan ,   BUDAPEST HUNGARY   (07.26.12)
Iran is a typical product of european imperialism. At the end of the XIX century the ministers of Queen Victoria and Nikolay II, agreed somewhere in London to invent the iranian state. The only goal was to separate british India from the czar's empire. Dozens of nations were trapped then. Kurds, lezghs, beludsis, azeris, turkmens etc. found themselves to be citizens of Iran. This situation must be finished and Iran must be partitioned !
19. Sanctions EPIC FAIL !
Hamid Rostam ,   Tehran   (07.26.12)
Obama's much trumpeted sanctions against Iran have failed miserably ! Countries like India, Turkey are all actively helping Iran easily bypass the half-hearted sanctions efforts. Successful use of barter system, routing payment thru tax-havens, smuggling oil & goods across border etc....all effectively nullifying the weak sanctions attempts. Obama is a liar & wimp, only interested in his re-election. Only fools believe him. Sanctions EPIC FAIL !
20. 13
zionist forever   (07.26.12)
Just think when the bombs fall on Tel Aviv Daphne Leef can get out her megaphone and tell us this is happening because we took away the social justice of the Iranian people when we attacked their nuclear sites. Best bit for her is if some buildings are destroyed she can relive the good old days when they create a tent city in Tel Aviv to house people.
21. Difficult option????
Jusanz77 ,   Vzla.   (07.26.12)
Although some decisions are difficult in life, when you have to choose between some "more fundamentalist economic burdens" or Israel become a nuclear graveyard. With eyes closed. I would choose the first option. What option would you choose?
22. We know what must be done. Let's DO IT!
Chaim ,   Israel   (07.26.12)
For once, Barak is correct. We know Iran's nukes pose an existential danger to Israel. We know we must destroy them. So let's DO IT!
23. too late Mr barak
inconito   (07.26.12)
it is not enough to say "we will do this or that" the Iranian program is not within the reach of israel. however I hope that Israel takes action quickly, this way Iran will leave the NPT and building its deterrent in secret, with the consent of the Iranian people, the Muslim world, and the rest of the world. israel strike now pls , so We Can See a nuclear Iran soon
24. a strike will change nothing: get ready for a nuclear iran
inconito   (07.26.12)
iran is more likeley to actualy build bomb in secret after a strike. and everybody know it...... so do it Mr barak i can't wait to see a nucleair iran
25. More warmongering ,...
split ,   US   (07.27.12)
Who the hell is threatening whom ? Iranians would be stupid not to have a few 'dirty' ones and a means to deliver it at this point ,...
26. Wrong. Try again
jb ,   encino, CA   (07.29.12)
The most dangerous would be a strike on an Iran that is about to become nuclear regardless of your strike.
27. #15 Jake: You can find it on Google maps
jb ,   Encino, CA   (07.29.12)
