1. Dont sell to Japan - Gog in Ezekiel 38-39.
Arn. ,   Sweden.   (07.27.12)
In addition to Israel, Japan also has a signed agreement to buy the F-35, which was designed to replace a range of fighter, strike and ground-attack aircraft, including the F-16. Arn.Sweden.
2. We should check out the F-34 VTOL now.
jason white ,   afula, israel   (07.27.12)
It is ready and we can buy it before the F-35 goes into production.
3. So Turkey benefits from Israeli upgrades too?
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (07.27.12)
Israel has stopped weapons sales to Turkey, but now Turkey is to acquiresome of its advanced systems via Lockheed and the US? That's just nuts. If all F-35 customers are getting this as standard equipment I suppose that means Saudi Arabia and Pakistan gets it too.

I thought the same thing. But on rereading the article, it seems it speaks of additional enhancements unrelated to the ones Israel will install for itself. Although, in my opinion, Turkey shouldn’t get any enhancements at all.
5. #1 - I've seen this Gog and Magog business applied to

literary a thousand different things that the person speaking/typing doesn't like. So, what's your reason for calling Japan this "Gog"?
6. #2 - There's no such thing as an F-34 though.

7. Raymond in DC: Some facts
Ibrahim ,   Turkey   (07.28.12)
Your F-35's would cost you 200% more if it wasn't for Turkish Aerospace Industries. 400 advance composite fuselages (midsections) are currently being produced in Turkey at a fraction of the cost of producing it in the US as we speak. Turkey's TUSAŞ Engine Industries Inc (TEI) is also manufacturing the engine blisk spool's at a fraction of the cost of producing it in the US. Turkey's participation in the program is not one way.
8. Turkey

#3, #7; Turkey should get nothing and not be allowed to participate in any NATO-related advanced weapon development or procurment projects. If left to their own devices, the current leadership of Turkey will soon be allied with the great suni democracies of Saudai Arabia, Egypt, Lybia, Quatar, the soon-to-be "Free Syria", and Pakastan.

The F-34 "Swiftwind" STOL does not exist. The combat aircraft that goes up against the F-35 and it has a more powerful engine. Yes,Henry, you know it all. Your knowledge of the military does not exist!

Saudi Arabia has been flying F-15s for over 20 years with Israeli conformal fuel tanks. SA also uses Israeli LANTRIN targeting pods. There's a lot of Israeli stuff floating around in unexpected places.
11. #9 - The only time I saw this Swiftwind mentioned anywhere
Henry from New York ,   Currently in Israel   (07.29.12)
on the net was on a forum for flight simulation games and that's it. It's not a matter of military knowledge or expertise, but rather general knowledge. It doesn't show up anywhere else and so it must be either VERY obscure knowledge or something made up as a concept plane that hasn't been publicised (or the dream of some net user you took as being real). Also, this would be US Military, not the Israeli Military.

You're being taken for a ride. The "F-4 Swiftwind STOL" (note the location of my quotation marks) is a virtual airplane. The latest version I could find on the internet is v1.6b. There is also a Klingon D-16 Swiftland class Destroyer. Kapish?

Would that mean that the US is using those items as well? If so, that is one of the ways Israel shares its technological improvements to our military equipment; one of the many returns we get on our investment.
