Yawn...
2. 83% of unmarried men, 71% of single women
Larry ,   Los Angeles   (08.02.12)
What the heck does this mean? If 83% of unmarried men, 71% of single women live in TA, does this mean that only 17% of men are married and 29% of women are married? Are the 17% of men married to the 29% of women? I truly find these stats difficult to understand. Can some one explain them to me?
3. single swinger misleading
ma nishma ,   modiin   (08.02.12)
It is obvious to me that married people are much happier than single or divorced people. Even a not great marriage is better than divorce. I have seen too many unhappy divorcees to need the statistics, but it just confirms what I see. As per so many single people, it is a shame that the secular culture promotes sex with out marriage. Why get married if you can pick and choose your sleeping mate at will? But the bottom line is that after several years of this type of life, the possibilities of marrying a decent person, meaning one who is not just interested in casual sex, goes down. Who wants some one who sleeps with anyone and everyone? Marriage is a commitment; free and casual sex is just the opposite - no commitment. Yet we see that it is this commitment to one mate that brings happiness. Tell this to those who support open sex and gays. Maybe they will realize that free sex costs more in the end.
4. CBS report: Number of singles in Israel drastically rises
Rina ,   Haifa, Israel   (08.02.12)
This statistic is not right. Most of this men and women are not single. They just live together, have kids without official marriage. Why? Because in Israel there is not a civil marriage, just religious. And if couples is not 100% Jewish is really hard to get married. Tel-Aviv is also most friendly to gay people city, so many gay couples live their. They are not married, but they are in couple. But officially they are single, because they are not married. Because Tel-Aviv most secular city in Israel people didn't bother with official status of their relationships. If so many people would be not married or not in relationship, where they get so many kids in Tel-Aviv?
5. For more marriages
Istvan ,   BUDAPEST HUNGARY   (08.02.12)
new laws are needed to ease that for secular couples. Some state financial aid would also be very useful.

Bluegrass Picker ,   Afula   (08.02.12)
...where's the RESULTS in terms of Schadchans that PRODUCE RESULTS? Take the money away from the yeshivot and give it to the Singapore Govt Social Development Agency. They have a record of success. The rebbes are all talk!!
7. Curse of the excesses of Western Cltur
AnotherJewishTragedy ,   Jerusalem Israel   (08.03.12)
The tragedy that has befallen much of the western world . Bombarded since the 60's with selfish me me and more me lifestyle has produced a western world on the edge of an abys . Israel will not survive in this part of the world with those kind of "values"

Istvan ,   BUDAPEST HUNGARY   (08.03.12)
Not western culture, but a jewish world conspiracy to annihilate christian-arier population. It is the opinion of Hungary's many neo nazi websites. And they are repeating this day and night , again and again. Money rules the world and jews rule the money, say these nazi animals and NOBODY CONTRADICT THEM !!
9. Larry 83% of Israeli unmarried men..
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (08.04.12)
live in TA. And the 17% others are dispersed in Israel. Statistics are flexible. Yet modern science is based on statistics.
