If he can provoke a war in the hope it will get the people to rally around their fearless president in his war against the zionist entity. At the very least he ca milk it for the PR, the more civilians Israel kills the better for happier he is because they are his enemies and he can get some wonderful PR out of it filming the bomb sites telling us about the mass graves. Hezbollah is far from the only threat to Israel from Syria although I imagine if these missiles are being taken to the Lebanese border they are awaiting delivery to Hezbollah. Time to stop waiting for the Syrian attack and destroy those chemical weapons and any known missile storage facilities. We don't know what Assad will do, we don't know who will replace him and we do not know what terrorists will do if they get their hands on this stuff so time to stop playing games before Assad fires the first shot. What happened to the era of the Israeli pre emptive strike something in an age of missiles is more important than ever?

I don't know if Assad wants war with Israel or not. What worries me more is the fact that YOU want war with Syria and Iran and Lebanon and probably Egypt. Maybe add intifada 3 in there and you'll be REALLY happy.

IRAN - that is totally beyond Israel's control what happens on that front. Eventually the Americans will attack and when that happens even if we do nothing Iran will almost certainly attack Israel anyway. SYRIA - I don't want a full scale ground war just bombing raids, leave the fighting to the Syrians. Those missiles & chemical weapons must be destroyed because we don't know what Assad might do with them or whose hands they might fall into after he is gone. LEBANON - it may or may not come to a war with Hezbollah but if it did would you rather fight a conventional war with them today or tomorrow fight a war when they have Scud missiles and chemical weapons ? EGYPT - I have no desire for a war with Egypt and neither do either Israeli or Egyptian politicians. Morrisi is a tough talker nothing more. HAMAS - Nowdays they dislike Assad just as much as the Syrians do. They are not stupid and are not going to start an intifada over a war with Syria which has nothing to do with them. I don't think war is fun or like the movies where the hero can be shot 1000 times and still gets up and wins the day but sometimes you need war to stop small threats turning into bigger ones.

Either the world, including you, stands by to watch thousands of people become refugees and thousands of others slaughtered in cold blood, or the world can ellicit the power it has to stop this. It seems that the world is divided into three categories - those who are afraid of Arabs, those who blindly support them (I believe you're here), and those who loudly oppose them (very few voices, but this does include Israel). With the power the world has, they could minimize the use of chemical weapons very quickly, in order to save the majority of lives.

A U.N resolution should be passed condemning Israel!!! Sorry did I say Israel???
