sounds to me like there is a history. As far as the remark by an attorney that his client suffered the same type of experience as a soldier should warrant him an additional sentence. This makes the IDF look just awful.

To break ribs and rupture a spleen takes extreme force regardless of if the testimony is slanted or not. Eight soldiers against 1 is pure cowardice! As a mother of a son who has no choice but to go to the army in a few years time, I am really concerned. Not only is he not safe from enemies over the borders, he is not even safe from his own countrymen.

Balony, this soldier is in the hospital with serious injuries. The perpetrators should be court martialed and put in jail.

My son's stepson was in the US Army and during a military exercise inside the States he was shot through several organs by another soldier. It's a miracle he survived. The army offered him a small payoff to leave and keep quiet about what happened. Because it happened inside the States and he was shot by another American he has no claim to a pension, although he is disabled. At least in Israel they are prosecuting the soldiers responsible.

There needs to be an investigation of these soldiers and their commanders. They evidently could rank their beating based on previous beating, most likely on Arabs.

Take each and every one of these soldiers, put them individually (one at a time) against 8 MP's (Military Police). big one's. Beat the shit out of him/them in the same manner they did this poor soldier (8 to one). Break his bones, no need for any court proceedings, just give those 8 ass-holes the same medicine. Put them all in a hospital. They will learn their lesson.

That's why parents" ínvolvement is essential ! Our army must only be dangerous to our enemies.
