Make no mistake if we did not have those settlers" there on the fringes of the country and the center Tel Aviv and the Gush Dan area would be under constant attack The "eyes" and presence of nearly 400,000 Jews help prevent this and only the indicision of all our leaders has prevented the massive settlement of Jews there to our detriment in the future. They the men women and children are our "eyes" in the war against terrorism as our presence on Mount Herman is no less,
2. Negev Development

Huge strides are being made in the Beesheba Ashkelon and Asdod Triangle all the way East to Dimona This is the natural heartland of Israel with space to grow and develop As infrastructure water availabilty and transport improves in the area so more businesses national and international will look to set up there But now we have to think bigger... 1. A Beersheba International Airport 2. Completion of Trans Israel North South Passenger Railway through Beersheba 3. Completion of Coastal Freight Railway from Haifa via Ashdod through Beersheba to Eilat 4. Development of a series of Negev based Water Parks/Lido-Oases to attract the absolutely HUGE potential of leisure tourists Jewish and Non Jewish who wiill come to Israel for an enjoyable family LEISURE holiday rather than just sight seeing or visiting family and friends. 5. And as more water becomes available for agricultural use this would enable the development of more agricultural settlements growing a huge range of produce and cash crops Exciting or what? Perhaps PM BG was right!
