Iranian H   (08.08.12)
unbelieveable, ayatollah worst nightmare comes true. instead of helping with jihad against Israel. MB are helping Israel. hahahhaha. i can imagine the stupid looks of ayatollah right now. not a single dollar should be given for aid for egypt
2. Now that the border in Egypt is closed
David ,   On this planet   (08.08.12)
The Israeli left of course will send extra food to the people of Gaza will the blessing of Peres, Barak to show how wonderful they are
3. Interesting....
Israeli ,   Haifa   (08.08.12)
Good job, Egypt! So much for "Israel did it!" If Israel "did it", then Egypt wouldn't have gone in to Al Toumah and attacked the terror cell there. By the way Rueters: If food is so scarce in Gaza, why is the population so obese? And if fuel is so scarce, where do they get the money to fire over 50 bombs at us in one day ?
4. @1 Too bad for the Mullahs, trying to attract jihadists away
PETER SM ,   MELBOURNE AUSTRALIA   (08.08.12)
from Syria by creating a jihad front in Sinai. Brother Assad will just have to deal with his brothers.

6. Egyptian Air Force jets in Sinai?
Mark ,   Lodz, Poland   (08.08.12)
That must be a first! Co-ordinated with the IDF was it? To #1 If you're able to read through the lines... ...Are the Egyptian military in charge of the country? The MB accused Israel of being involved in Sunday's terrorist attack and yet had to send in the military/air force to find some 'innocent' scapegoats for this crime Get the picture?
7. I thought Israel was responsible
k ,   US   (08.08.12)
gee maybe Israel wasn't responsible all along
8. GOOD ,DO NOT MESS WITH EGYPT
DA URBAN POET ,   SAFED OPERA HOUSE   (08.08.12)
9. Best news possible!
Yakov ,   Tel Aviv   (08.08.12)
Reality hits the Egyptians, and hard! The false assumption, that all of Islam is united in brotherhood, was spectacularly shattered. The "Bothers" from Gaza, attacked and murdered their own, in their quest for Jewish blood. This act, dispels any illusion, of that brotherhood. Clearly the Egyptians got the message, and retaliated. No better a result, could have arisen from this episode. The Egyptian government, and the military have learned (the hard) way, that their "brethren" aren't, and they will kill their own, to further their blood-lust. The idea of the "poor and repressed" Palestinian, got a major blow.
10. If Gaza is so bad, y r the Palis from Damascus begging in?
(08.08.12)
11. #1 this is part of the plan
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (08.08.12)
I am not particularly smart or well informed, but this is exactly the scenario I (or anyone with half a brain) predicted. Iran wants to control Saudi Arabia. Now that Obama is attacking Syria, Iran needs a way to delay the following attack on Iran so they will have time to get nukes to protect against American attack. The best way is a revolution in Egypt that will close Suez, make the Eastern Med dangerous for Americans and release Egyptian arms for Jihad. Credit for this situation goes to Obama who killed Gaddaffi and betrayed Mubarak, but also to the Israeli extreme Left who installed Hamas in Gaza in their fanatic desire to destroy the Zionist Jews of Gush Katif at any price.
12. Definitely Iran's work to gain time to complete Nuclear Bomb
Alan ,   SA   (08.08.12)
Iran wants its surrogates to draw attention from the developement of its bomb. Im sorry for all M E (and even the whole wold) if Ashton Obama-Hillary attitude prevails.
13. Allah have Morsi !
Iranian Hunter   (08.08.12)
Look at the CUTE Morsi, surrounded by his praetorian guards 24 hours 7 days a week. Is it possible the little Caesar are controlled by the powerful praetorian guards ? Impossible ! They win the election ! Anyone notice the new cabinet are mostly islamist, men, jihadist ? I can see the Praetorian guards will be replaced soon, one by one, slowly. Either that, or little Caesar will have a little accident. Not a single dollar should be given to MB as aid.
14. Disservice to Israel
Moshe ,   Rehovot, Israel   (08.08.12)
The article states at one point that, "A Reuters reporter in Rafah said heavy equipment was brought to the Egyptian side of the tunnels, which are used to smuggle people to and from Gaza as well as scarce food and fuel for the small territory's population." Implicit in this statement, as we all well know, is criticism of Israel's blockade. Everyone knows, from a myriad of pictures published on-line, that fuel and food are not scarce in Gaza. By quoting the factually incorrect Reuters' report, YNet does a disservice to Israel and its Israeli readers!
15. Where is flotilla in support of the massacred freedom fighte
ab   (08.08.12)
rs ?!
16. Will the world beg Egypt to show "restraint"?
Vered, Israel   (08.08.12)
17. The Egyptian army wants to earn her US dollars
Bad Assed Jew ,   United States   (08.08.12)
and she wants to be in charge. I can't think of a more pleasing result than for these two factions to be at war with one another. It wont matter who's in command the real power is in the hands of the Egyptian army. ( they seem to have the arms and the brains)
18. MYSRAYIM,SINAI=THE COMMANDMENTS
PHARAOH   (08.08.12)
YOU MUST NOT LIE,YOU MUST NOT STEAL,YOU MUST NOT KILL
19. Condolences.....
Koose E Mack ,   NY NY   (08.08.12)
I'm sorry for the Egyptian Guards that died fighting the Terrorist Scum. The majority of the people of Egypt want what everyone wants.... Peace, Prosperity, Good Health, and a Good Life. Remember, the election was about 50/50. It's good to know that the military still runs the show! Ironically, they are the ones who understand the benefits of peace with Israel!
20. Maybe they'll start to realize that we are not the eenemy?
Susan ,   Kfar Saba   (08.08.12)
Nah, I dont hink so.
