I think the people who are really responsible for the fact we are in the current stalemate is the Kadima MKS themselves. They have spent 3 years in the political wilderness under Livni never having much to say about anything and they wanted Mofaz to try exert authority especially as this is a populist issue more than anything else. Bibi & Mofaz for the most part disagreed on the age of enlistment should it be 22 or 26.
