Had she then we would see Zippy selling out Israel to Europe, the US, and her fellow, like-minded, anti-Zionists across the globe.

who are reacting to misinformation that ensures secular politicians keep getting votes and attention. The exaggeration, hatred, and conflict that the Arabs promote to maintain their culture of hate and leadership, is being mimicked by Livni and her anti-Zionist, anti-religious buddies. If only Jews had the power that degenerates accuse Jews of, and if only the Religious had the power that the paranoid scorners said they had, the world would be somewhat redeemable.
36. Haredi are to Jews, what Jews are to Christians
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (08.08.12)
...they monopolize our culture, and "...unfortunately they now have more power than they should."
37. when the minory rules majority= non-Democuratic
mr. mr ,   Israel   (08.08.12)
Haredim as minory is now has the power over secular and non- Haredim Israelis. this power is claim is natural power of Haredim as they are more jewish the Non-Haredim. so i didn't get it, how the minority got monopoly over the majority. fantastic most of the minority around the world is suffering, Israel is the only country in world that minority is majority. wow! let is call this "minority democracy"
38. Imagine the Outcry in America if....
Reuven Brauner ,   Raanana, Israel   (08.08.12)
a politician, any politician, would get up and say about another, "he sold the nation to the blacks!" The outcry of blatant racism against him would exorcise said speaker from every public forum for the rest of his shortened career. But, here, to castigate a portion of the Jewish people with such nasty words results in no censure or reprimand. Phooey on Feigele.
39. ultra-orthodox and Secular
Yoel ,   Israel   (08.08.12)
as time passes I see the U/O- free loarders getting what they want there is no end what is our country coming to - social justice has been ignored, the poor are suffering, is the PM still living in limbo.
40. CNN interview is not for you Israelis, its to smear
JJJ   (08.08.12)
How low can you get? for livni there is no bottom. CNN interview is not for you Israelis, its to smear the prime minister with the Europeans, and some Americans that would like noting more then the weakening of Israel. When Romni was in Israel he said; I do not criticize American foreign policy on foreign land. Ms. Livni has the character of a minor failed politician that failed on any field you chose, accept for her smitten followers
41. Tsipi's record of outstanding achievement.
michael Pielet ,   Israel   (08.08.12)
Reality, the left, the leftist politicians sleep in the same bed with the haredim. Ramon and Deri are partners. They both want money and power. Peres and Rabin used to run to the haredim to buy their support. When Rabin had a 61 seat majority in the Knesset in 1992, he never even mentioned the idea of service in the IDF for the haredim. This haredi - army issue is another phoney leftist issue. First, let little Dafna Leef and her friends in Tel Aviv serve. Whose serves, the national religious they serve, their the backbone of the IDF. What positive contribution has Tsipi ever made to Israeli society. Tsipi has been an abject failure at every thing she has attempted in life. Tsipi should have as her goal something realistic that she may successfully accomplish, perhaps chief dog catcher of Tel Aviv.
42. The "Jewish" concept is dying.
Michael ,   California, USA   (08.08.12)
Jews live in the diaspora and are abandoning their religion continuously. Some Israelis are still fighting and are trying to keep religion alive somehow, but Jewish religion will collapse in Israel also. The historical path is clear -- state and religionn MUST be separated. Religion will not go without fighting, without inflicting some pain, but it will go. It matters not what agreement Bibi makes with the religious as part of their fighting, for Bibi will also be gone.
43. 14 & 27
zionist forever   (08.08.12)
Whilst you might not like haredi and the welfare culture the social justice crowd want welfare culture, they want the state to provide for their every need and if its not doing so then there is no social justice. These same social justice people campaign against the haredi Its hysterical last week Leefs followers were demanding the haredi serve in the army despite the fact they have a LEGAL get out clause so they are not draft dodgers but they are hated for it Little Miss Social Justice refused to serve in the army on moral grounds but she is seen a a hero of the people. Same with the rest of these liberal morality draft dodgers they are viewed as heroes and haredi are periahs because they want to go to yeshiva and study rather than the army. Not only that but Leef actually now receives a salary from a charity that she created so she can do zip other than be the queen of social justice. Isn't that the same as haredi not having real jobs because they want to dedicate their lives to studying Torah? Leef is basically a secular haredi, has the same attitude to life only difference is the haredi are religious and she is not
44. And Tzipi, who left Kadima altogether...
William ,   Israel   (08.08.12)
worked to sell Israel to Arab enemies. I know which group I'd want.
45. RADICAL ATHEIST LEFTISTS are the ENEMY!

46. To*29*
Ruben Jacobi ,   UK   (08.08.12)
I sincerely hope that there are not too many people that think like you if so Israel would have great difficulty in surviving till the end of this decade never mind eternity. It is quite well known in the real world that Hashem helps those people that help themselves.
47. #4 & 24 Democracy's a bitch
rebecca ,   Modiin   (08.08.12)
Haradim have the power due to our political system. Netanyahu tried to override them, without alienating them, by bringing in the remnants of Kadima, so dont blame him. Haradim have a vote and they use it to their interests. That's selfish democracy for you.
48. ZIP IT ZIPPI
DA REGGAE MAN ,   SEFAT JAMAICA   (08.08.12)
Enough of her bitterness.
49. Tzipi is a DISGRACE to Israel
Rozy   (08.08.12)
She is horrible...cannot keep her stupid big mouth shut. It is impossible to understand most of what she says. It is a shame that she needs to go out to the international media and lie and say very negative things about Israel. We have enough enemies worldwide. She thinks she will score points...maybe with her Islamist brothers. She is a total disgrace to Israel and the Jewish people.
50. Damaging Israel abroad after a disastrous political career.
Chaim ,   Israel   (08.08.12)
After a disastrous political career in Israel; Livni has taken to damaging Israel abroad. It never occurs to this very dumb woman that foreigners regard her comments as an indictment of Israel. They couldn't care less what she thinks about Bibi. Livni should face strict legal consequences.
51. to #36 Steve Benassi
Bluegrass Picker ,   Afula   (08.08.12)
if the shoe fits, wear it. You were politically strong enough to steal & occupy Indian land; but you couldn't out-think us. Darwinian selection, baby. We'll add Steve Benassi as a footnote to the story of the Aztecs & the Mayas: "a gang of thieves that got pushed aside by a stronger gang of thieves".
52. Nation vs Religion
Yehuda ,   Jerusalem   (08.08.12)
I am interested what she means when she says Judaism is for a nation as opposed to a religious.. what does that mean? I have issue with zionists who try to mis-represent Judaism as being something other than what it is...can someone please explain to me what her and other zionists mean when she says Jewishness is not a religion???
53. 47
zionist forever   (08.08.12)
I think the people who are really responsible for the fact we are in the current stalemate is the Kadima MKS themselves. They have spent 3 years in the political wilderness under Livni never having much to say about anything and they wanted Mofaz to try exert authority especially as this is a populist issue more than anything else. Bibi & Mofaz for the most part disagreed on the age of enlistment should it be 22 or 26. I think given the choice Mofaz would have stayed but the back benches wanted him to throw his weight about so he quit the coalition something that long term will destroy Kadima rather than give them a chance to try become electable again. We also rushed into this whole haredi issue because it was a popularist one and as usual screwed it up. If it had been handled properly then there would have been a consutation on is the military best for hardedi or should there be a civilian alternative created for them ( as ling as they do their bit does is matter what their role is ? ) In the end Mofaz quit, Bibi will not get any kind of deal as long as he relies on the religious block which he did not have to do with Mofaz. Soon Liberman will have a tantrum, the protestors will make much more noise, the coalition will split and we will have elections and the outcome will probably be a Labor / Lapid / Meretz coalition. We have become so obsessed with whats popular we are not interested in whats important. Is the haredi draft actually IMPORTANT ( the army don't want them because there will be huge cost involved ). The social justice movement is out of control and their demands get bigger and more expensive every week but if its in the name of social justice then its reasonable. Everything is just getting crazy and can only get worse right now
54. Nationality or religion?
Joe ,   Baltimore, USA   (08.08.12)
There is a political convention that outside one's own country political figures don't attack their govt. Aside from that how do you separate Jewish 'nationality' from Jewish religion when the Torah is our history and our identity. The 1930's Jewish socialists who used Yiddish as their national secular language have long since disappeared. Most of the original 19th Century American Jewish Reform Movement have no Jewish descendants today. We have survived four millennia because of the eternal Covenant which is the basis of our faith community.
55. No. 42, how come you are always such a genius?
Marco ,   Spain   (08.08.12)
56. 42
zionist forever   (08.08.12)
Bibi will not be able to get any deal with the religious now or else he will be gone. Since the loss of Mofaz Bibi has a majority of just 6 and that includes the religious block so he cannot afford to do anything thats going to make them walk. If Mofaz had not been so quick to rush and gave it time and if we had first held an official consultation into whats best for haredi, military or create some kind of civilin national service for them they would have probably worked something out but now Bibi relies on the haredi no deals will be done of any kind.
57. A WELL-WORN PATH
David ,   New York, NY   (08.08.12)
Once again, transparent self-promotion at the expense of The State. Next stop, Doha, for more of her succinct wisdom be shared and aired on Al Jazeera. Note to Livni: "Bruno" was only a movie. DO NOT go to Lebanon to interview with the head of Al-Aqsa Brigade. I'm sure it's tempting but it could ruin your whole day.
58. #42 If Marco,Spain agrees with Michael,California, USA
(08.08.12)
we know that Michael , California, USA is a trash. No more confirmations needed.
59. from the standpoint of Torah
Galut ia ,   Selah   (08.08.12)
Israel will have to one day cede to God his rightful place as leader of Israel .. I don't necessarily agree with the haredims approach to things but steps must be taken that brings Israel back to Gods leadership ... mans wisdom leave a whole lot to be desired...
60. come to US
