The world is a funny place. The Iranians call for a peaceful resolution that will keep the multicultural mosaic of Syria intact. Obama calls for a "no fly zone", proven in Libya to mean indiscriminate bombing of civilians to topple a government. Who would have thought that a third-world islamist regime would be more humane than the president of the United States?

Without any no-fly zone quite some bombing of civilians seems to happen in Syria. "Humane" is bombing in the interst of Assad and Iran, "inhumane" is not to advance their interests?!

are now hedging their bets.... Do they see where the wind is blowing in Syria? Wonder what Free Syria would make of that? And if they can see which way the wind is blowing in Syria...can they see which way the wind is blowing in Iran?
9. It will be catastrophic
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (08.09.12)
For Assad, Iran and Russia. For the rest of the world including Syrians it will be beneficial, especially when Syria splinters into various enclaves
10. Weapons of mass destruction
Sherlock Holmes ,   London England   (08.09.12)
Just as Saddam Hussein hid his air force in Iran during the first Gulf War, and moved his weapons of mass destruction to Syria, Assad is no doubt now thinking about moving his and Saddam's weapons of mass destruction to Iran. The ayatollahs may soon have chemical warfare as well as atomic bombs.

"Syrian society is a beautiful mosaic of ethnicities, faiths and cultures...." What about your Bahais, you sniveling hypocrites
