Wars REQUIRE tremendous amounts of resources (humans to be cannon fodder, material to be destroyed and lots of wealth to pay for everything), Just WHERE will Israel get the resources? While Israel has some wealth of its own, war will both rapidly drain that wealth, but will also destroy the economy so no new wealth is available. If a real war starts, as much as half the Israeli population will simply disappear overnight, leaving few humans to be used as cannon fodder. Even if the US might be willing to help out a little (a dubious assumption these days), the US has its own resource problems that woudl quickly get worse. The hard reality is even if Israel wants to fight a massive war, it probably does NOT have the resources to do it and when the resources ran out, defeat woudl quickly follow. It might be far better to not start any wars.
