Multiplying in numbers wherever there are weaknesses, vulnerabilities. Where are the ghost busters / exterminators when you need them ???
2. Arab Spring's "enemy of my enemy is my friend" for now

...just like Stalin was to Roosevelt, and vice versa, during WWII.
3. I guess the al-Qaeda is there, whether the Syrian opposition

wants it or not. Wherever there is a power vacuum, al-Qaeda enters and take over. Sinai, Yemen, African countries both in the west and eastern continent... Their numbers may not be so many yet in Syria, but they are, as the article mentions, experienced, spreading, organized and extremely ruthless. The mountain area of Sinai has, due to neglect of authorities, according to previous articles in Debkafiles, been turned into a new center, and like a cancer, its activities are spread, so far uncontrolled.
4. Trust

has become a big mistake. Afghans in uniform. Syrians fighting for freedom. and even trusting those who place their faith in it

Our backs is to have them fighting each other. Otherwise they get bored and will start killing us. Am Israel Chai

While the United States and the European Union sit on their hands, there is now a real risk of Syria's weapons of mass destruction falling into the hands of Al Qaeda. Let's see, now -- Al Qaeda -- isn't that the organization that was responsible for the bombing of the two United States Embassies in Africa? Weren't they also responsible for the bombing of the USS COLE? Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't they also have a hand in the events of September 11, 2001? What about the bombing of the London tube? And the bombing of the Spanish train? What Al Qaeda hasn't really done is mess much with Israel. Oh, there are the little terrorist elements operating in Gaza, but each time they've done something against Israel, Israel has responded with punishing, if highly targeted, force. Israel will doubtless watch events closely, but it is the United States and Europe that need to be extremely worried. It would be extremely difficult for Al Qaeda to actually enter Israel and do something. It would be extremely easy for Al Qaeda to enter the United States or any country in Europe and ply their trade there. Perhaps with weapons of mass destruction. Well, now, isn't that an interesting turn of events? Go ahead, push the ersatz "Palestinian" cause a little harder. Show the world how soft on terrorism the American administration and the European Union are -- face it, the ersatz "Palestinians" are terrorists, and the ersatz "Palestine" Authority's entire so-called "leadership" are soaked in the blood of innocents. I wonder if the U.S. and the E.U. are aware of what one teaspoonful of colorless, odorless botulin toxin dumped into a reservoir can do. Don't blame Israel. We've been warning you for decades, and you simply haven't paid attention. More fool you.
7. Al - Qaeda has learned from both

the Iraq and Afghanistan war. They know how the West deploy their troops, munitions and movement in theater. They have adapted by "blending in" with the public and use places like hospitals and mosques to operate from. If they establish a large footprint in Syria, and Israel / US have to go in with boots on the ground to fight them, I believe we will see different weapons and tactics used. The US / Israel have been taking notes in both Iraq and Afghanistan as well. There is a reason Syria was chosen for the next stage of conflict, so don't be too surprised about these things. Perhaps it is a ploy to entice Al-Qaeda, Hamas & Hezbollah to all join and assemble in the same place at the same time? The Bible says Damascus was there one day and gone the next. Stay tuned . . .
