31. Reply to 26 Ezra and public Torah lessons
Danny ,   London England   (08.14.12)
There is no requirement for a mechitza during a public shiur. A mechitza is only required during 'statutory' services, e.g. Shacharis, Mincha, Musaph, Neilah and Maariv. There is no need for a mechitza for reading the Megillah or for a wedding ceremony. In response to the mixed seating in the Conservative synagogues, the Orthodox have tended to hold even more strongly to the use of a mechitza.
32. Hi Darin...
Brana Lobel ,   Israel   (08.14.12)
so...you have a pipeline to the Infinite and are getting the direct skinny from HKBH, huh? Let me be respectful and say, as you are another human--I hope so, and not a bot or a troll-- prophecy went out a long time ago. Viewpoints on the Torah are many, and yours is simply one.
