And the basics is that the Health Plan passed by the Congress during Obama's presidency (so called "Obamacare") is a bright spot for America's future. To start from, Obama had to fight off depression fears left over by Bush Junior. He did reasonably well at it except for unemployment figures. Obama also did well with wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Most of American citizens recognize that the president can do almost nothing about unemployment short of declaring a major war somewhere. So, Romney+Ryan will need to forget about attacking Obama on unemployment and concentrate on Obamacare. By doing it, Republicans will lose big. By the latest polls, except for the conservative rich who are a minority, Obamacare is supported overwhelmingly by American citizens, by the lower and middle classes.

Outside the Republican Party how many Americans have heard of Paul Ryan? Condoliza Rice would have been the best choice. She is a household name, she is intelligent, she is a woman which might help Romney attract the female vote and of course she is black which is good if Romney wants the black & Latinos currently on Obama's pocket.
