done by vote. and got nothing to do with Rabin who was a todler at that time, the decision for the state of Israel wasn't first initiated at 1948 it was done earlier but the real reason it was done in 1948 after the vote in the UN, was British cover for the Exoduse incident in 1947, the british r responsible for the murder of jewish holocaust survivores. to get away with murder UK initiated the vote in the UN, in which the UK was sustained. cold heart the brits got, for pulling that stunt, they denide the approval of the state of Israel only when their neck was on the line they OKed it. only after the vote Ben Gurion got green light from the world to declaired the state of Israel, but by that time most of the country allready existed, only a stamp of aproval was needed.

much of a politician, army man yes but he wasn't ready for politics, in evening of on of Israel wars he vanished from comand for two days, y did he do that? none knows, but commander should have done that ever. as for his relationship with the USA, he did a lot of deals with USA officials, true, but the debt from those deals were also big, allote of cash went back to the USA, nothing is free, might as well give your tax money directly to USA's federal gov and not to your state of Israel, at his time people called Israel the 53th state of USA.
