Their Judaism has been replaced by their liberalism. They are liberals first, second, and third. Israel is now the enemy to these people, sadly, because Israelis have a higher authority than government, G@d. Our Creator, the highest authority. Liberal American Jews hold the federal government as the highest moral authority and anyone who doesn't conform to their point of view is an enemy, hence Israel is the enemy and must be eliminated.
