The shia fanatic Syria government claims to fight for christians and non muslims. Dont be fooled by this propaganda. In the constitution it is not allowed for non muslim to be president in Syria, Malaysia, and probabaly "moderate" Indonesia. They are fighting for alawites, no one else. The rebels are not fighting for freedom just like the rebels in Libya, Tunisia, Egypt dont really want freedom. What they want is islamic shariah and to harass and convert non christiabs and invade Israel. Which is why you dont see any protesting in Qatar, Saudi Arabia. Which already has shariah, harasss non muslims and total NO freedom. Bahrain is an exception because they wanted SHIA shariah laws because they are shias not sunnis. Rebels are MB and terror organization, the secular and non muslims there are tiny tiny minority and will be cast out or killed after the islamic revolution. I wish both sides GREAT SUCCEES

The American-controlled Syrian activists report that about 22000 have died, 16000 civilians and 6000 combatants. Although far from the amazingly professional IDF ratio of 2 combatants killed for 1 civilian, the Syrian ratio of 3 civilian dead for each combatant is for similar to the American/British ratio of 2 civilians dead for each combatant, and far better than Obama's drone war. Considering that the "rebels" always use civilians as human shields, it seems that Assad is more humane than Obama. Although I don't doubt that Assad is a cruel butcher, the numbers (published by American sources) indicate that Assad is actually fighting a very clean war against the Saudi/American revolution.

You are right that neither the Alawi/Sunni side nor the Sunni/JIhadi side are good guys. Both are cruel psychopaths that torture and murder for sport. But you forget that wars bring misery to hundreds of thousands of innocent people. Think of the the orphans, widows and handicapped. This war, the deaths and misery could have all be avoided if Obama hadn't been so arrogant and incomptent.
