It is true that the USA has given a lot of countries in the ME a lot of help, often military, and espescially to Israel. That however does not automatically make them reliable. The US will always act in it's own interest first , they sometimes , like now, make decisions for their own short term local political interests at the possible cost of Israel's existence.

Question: would the destruction of Israel by Iranian nukes not portend the destruction of the Palestinians as well?
