As a Jewish woman, I condemn the unprovoked attack on any Arab person. There is NO justification for it. It is up to the parents and the educational system in Israel to promote the right behavior. The conflict between Palestinians and Jews is regrettable in every respect, and this is an example of what comes from such a long-standing conflict. I'm sorry to hear that any Arab person was hurt in this attack, and I beg all my fellow Jews to think about the right way to behave and to treat others. This should not be the Jewish way. Arab Israelis and any Arab or any person should be able to walk the streets in Israel without fear. Those who carried out this attack, if it was Jewish youths, must be held responsible.

Not to minimize the seriousness of this attack, it's important to remember and to publicize, that the Israeli reaction to this is to apprehend and prosecute the perpetrators. Contrast this to "our partners in peace" who, in a similar situation, would name a town square, a pre-school and a brigade of murderers after their new heroes.

i grew up in that area and this sort of thing against arabs happens quite often in that area. especially against the arabs that work at the restaurants as cooks and are returning home late. this kind of violence makes us not better than them. my friends and i actuallly rescued an arab about a year ago from one of these groups of dodem that were attacking an arab cook near zion square. lucky for him my friends and i are of american back ground and our body sizes were a lot larger than the israeli fellows persuing that young man. the other thing i dont know is there is always border police stationed at zion square 24 hours a day why didnt they do anything to stop it ???
