1. Who knows they might even find a job
Haim ,   TA   (08.21.12)
Who knows where it will all lead, these teenagers with smart phones might even get to a web site advertising jobs and we cant have that can we? Fundamentalist cultures and religions are afraid of what their followers might learn, or learn to think for themselves. This is a threat to the religious leaders whose major objective in life is holding onto power and influence over their followers.
2. if you're an adult and need a nanny
Golan ,   modiin   (08.21.12)
its time to grow up. Kosher phones is like putting up the chairs on the table because the kid's don't know how to behave. (did you see the supernanny episode?) Point is, while I do not need many of the features my phone provides, I still have those options on my computer. And if the problem exists, the problem is with me and not with a phone/internet/computer/the media or "my friends."
3. I wonder...
Z ,   Israel   (08.21.12)
what sexting will be considered with these phones...a wrist per chance, an ankle if lucky?
4. Srugim work and go to the Army
Michal ,   Europe   (08.21.12)
National religious population goes to the army and works - both men and women.
5. Kosher phones do you mean
Ameridane ,   Aarhus, Denmark   (08.21.12)
that these phones are circumcised?
6. Wait, so they removed internet, but left cameras?
Az   (08.21.12)
How is that kosher? That makes no sense. Would make more sense if they had NO camera, but had internet. Y'know like, "no images" commandment and all? There's not one against communication.
7. How good are you if you have to be so controlled?
Nick Sporek ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (08.22.12)
8. #4 and bang on incessantly about it.
MAP ,   Bnei Brak   (08.22.12)
Srugim men may well do the army - a truncated form if, as many of them prefer, via the hesder system - however their women do not. Sherut Leumi is NOT the same as the army. End of. (Period in US English). They work, like the secular population for the money it brings in. I, for one, am fed up to the back teeth with hearing from the srugim publicists how wonderful it is that they work and do the army. That's what we are all supposed to do if we are able. Stop banging on about it as if you are doing the country a favour. Get your women into uniform and your men into full military service and then we, the secular majority, will take you seriously. Enjoy your not-quite-kosher phones or will some amongst you display their greater relgious fervour by using the haredi kosher phones? More divisivness.
9. Haim TA

Haim'sIgnorance ,   Jerusalem Israel   (08.22.12)
Your ignorance is showing mr Haim you apparently dont know the differnece between Haradi and National Relgious who make up 40% now of our elite fighting forces an apology is in order Mr Haim.
11. #9 LOL David no i dont think so
Haim ,   TA   (08.23.12)
To you and all teh followers/believers of the Imaginary Friend in the sky You should have their full freedom to practice chicken-twirling and genital "adjustment" policy in your leisure time! I have no desire to interact in any pseudo-intellectual "dialogue" with these neurologically challenged individuals ( thats you dear). My country (that's Israel folks) should not allow these medevil forces to have ANY influence on the daily functioning of our system. Period.
12. If you had read the article
Elon   (09.05.12)
You would realize this is addressed at TEENAGERS who are being distracted by their phones during school hours. Presumably, the adults can use whatever phone they want
