While Israel hyper ventilates about Iran, the reality of the last 60+ years is it does not matter if a country has nukes or not because no one will actually use them, because ANY country that uses nukes will be committing suicide. Any nuke going off anywhere on earth effects ALL HUMANS on earth so the offending nation will get immediate very negative retaliation. American has lived perfectly OK with nukes form Russia and China pointed at it and the same goes for Russia and China. India and Pakistan have lived just fine with nukes pointing at each other. The hard reality is right now there are probably nukes pointed at Israel from Pakistan, India, Russia and China and Israel does just fine. As for the so-called "terrorist threat" Per NTI.org the hard reality is there are enough "loose nukes" floating around that terrorists just may get one anyway. It is not about Iran's decision to build nukes! It's about Iran vulnerability to a strike. It is not very smart to wait for the decision, since Iran is not only building more and more bunkered facilities, but also has entered the stage, where it can produce shahab 3 missiles in significant numbers. If we wait another month, even more of these things will be produced and if it comes worse, Iran also will make more progress in solid fuel missiles. The decision about a strike on Iran is way more complex than only about it's decision and progress in its nuclear program. We shouldn't forget this!

Nukes are a critical Iranian interest so they can project their influence into Saudi Arabia and defend against American aggression. Iran not having nukes is a critical American interest because Iranian control of world oil is bad for the American economy. Obama could have neutralized Iran early on, but chose to focus on Israel. Now, exactly according to Ahmadinejads plan, any attack on Iran will have dreadful consequences for the whole world. The best thing that could happen to Obama and the Saudis is an Israeli attack on Iran. Israel would be blamed for everything, would be viewed as an aggressor, and would be considered a fair target for world/Muslim revenge. On the other hand, a nuclear Iran is catastrophic for the Saudis, and bad for the world, but Israel would not be blamed. As long as Israel holds Judea and Samaria, an Iranian attack (I deem unlikely) will be survivable. Israel's only chance is to shut up about Iran and to strengthen the hold on Judea and Samaria.
