1. I know how he feels.
Jean-Pierre ,   Austria   (08.20.12)
I feel the same when any man speaks ill to my mother. It would be legit and right if to charge the man for hate speech. Killing doesnt solve anything. But reality in Israel is very sad, ive lived there, and arabs can be very unfriendly and it promotes hatred to others, this applies to all ethics. People of all colors need to stop this hatred by promoting righteousness, love, caring, and above all, be humble. Shalom
2. If we are that different.....
Andy ,   Washington, DC   (08.20.12)
then we will deal harshly with people, regardless of age, who think that cursing their mothers is grounds for beating somebody to death, citing no less, the fact that he is an Arab. We can't have it both ways - the Jewish people either have values or we do not.
3. Thank you for proclaiming that you are an idiot
Avi   (08.20.12)
The father and mother must be so proud of the results of their parenting efforts.
4. leftist media SPITS on memory of Jewish victim of REAL lynch
Moshe ,   Rehovot   (08.20.12)
lynch - PULEASE. in the 2000 Ramallah lynch Arab murderer showed off the blood of the Jewish soldier with a sinister smile --- THAT was a lynch. this animal was freed from prison - Ynet said NOTHING. but THIS they call a 'lynch'
5. Is this what we have become?
Sarah B   (08.20.12)
Is the occupation of the territories worth the price?
6. Sad to see Israeli youth moral so low
Barbara ,   Haifa Israel   (08.20.12)
7. #4 Moshe? You're behaving stupidly.
Roman ,   Lod, Israel   (08.20.12)
So, there can be only one kind of apple, you're saying? The assault victim in this case was effectively dead at the scene - not breathing and without a pulse. Had rescue teams arrived but a few minutes later, he would have been dead. I'll note this, though - *this* was possibly assault more than lynching, but the resemblance is quite clear. Perhaps it's just low-life youths who went farther than they intended or expected, but it's a horrible act just the same. The brutal lynching of Vadim Nurzhitz and Yossi Avrahami was worse, much worse. That does not mean that we cannot aim to be better than that.

Alice ,   Israel/Canada   (08.20.12)
You are not the real Sarah B. Shame on you.
9. "if you go the Damascus Gate you get stabbed"
Moshe ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (08.20.12)
Yea, no. Although I love how he says things when he clearly doesn't have a clue what he's talking about. I pass through Damascus Gate twice a day, often more. I've never been stabbed and never felt threatened. In fact, there are a few shopkeepers near the gate whom I consider to be amongst my closest friends. People need to understand already that 90% of Jerusalemites, both Jew and Arab, honestly couldn't care less what race you are and just want to live in peace with each other. Xenophobic people like this kid, who immediately think of hostility and danger when they encounter someone of a different race and can't be bothered to even try and interact with them first, are the exact cause of 99% of Jerusalem's ethnic tensions.
10. "Lynch" Suspect
Nili   (08.20.12)
Note that the "victim" was transferred to hospital and cared for by Jews, whereas in a real lynching (as takes place in PA areas), there would be nothing left. Our government and police maintain a politically correct stance, where Jews are second class citizens and now Jews are becoming exactly like those who have been attacking them for tens of years~go figure...
11. When Arab gets beaten - it's a lynch, when Jews
Self-hating Jews ,   DESTROYING ISRAEL   (08.20.12)
get killed by Arabs - it's by a "gunman".
12. Post # 5 is obviously a fraud.
Fraud-Buster   (08.20.12)
Post # 5 was obviously not written by Sarah B. It should be removed.
13. #5 Sarah B.
yafe nefesh ,   nahariya   (08.20.12)
Is obviously a sensible woman. It's clear that the occupation is poisoning our society with hatred and racism.
14. Yafe Nevfesh
Alice ,   Israel/Canada   (08.20.12)
There is no occupation. All the land belongs to Israel. The real "occuper" are the Arabs an people like you. If you have no ideologie, what are you doing in Israel. Please move.
15. Yafe Nefest # 13
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (08.20.12)
Your society has always been poison and filled with hate and racism. Israel is just another excuse for you to show it. You are experts at making excuses and blaming others for your own faults.
16. two problems
roger ,   zurich switzerland   (08.20.12)
The first is that Israeli kids are brainwashed and indoctrinated by their parents, the education system and the army to hate Arabs, demonising them and dehumanising them. This is racism. The second problem is the ongoing occupation of Palestinian land and the refusal on the part of Israel to apologise for its crimes in 1948 of stealing that land and destroying about 500 villages. Underneath the viciousness in these kids is not just racist fear but a deep guilt and unease. Atonement is the only way out.
17. @16 roger zurich
Chash ,   Israel   (08.20.12)
B"h You have no clue what your talking about, Racism?? Indoctrination?? go take a stroll through most arab villages with a kippa on, (many if you even mistakenly drive in) youll never comment to anyone about anything ever again... but youll find out what a real 'lynch' looks like!
18. #14 ideology
Gregg ,   Haifa IL   (08.20.12)
So having a different point of view and stance is not having any ideology? Wow very intelligent of you Alice. Is that what they teach you in Canada? And having a different point of view means having no rights living in the country? On which planet are you living Alice?
19. Rodger # 16
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (08.21.12)
You need look no further than what happened to the Fogel family to understand why Israeli kids might hate arabs. The Pals had an opportunity in 1948 to have their own country and they refused. They have refused it again since then. Israel has nothing to apologise for, especially not anything that happened in 1948.
20. Alice #14
yafe nefesh ,   nahariya   (08.21.12)
Who are you to decide who goes? That's the problem with you right wing extremist self haters. You think you own the place.
21. for the Sarah B troll
zionist forever   (08.21.12)
Do yourself and everybody else a favour and just get lost. Impersonating another is stupid & childish and the REAL Sarah B is 100 times more intelligent than you.
22. #20 Yafe Nefesh
Alice ,   Israel/Canad   (08.21.12)
As a matter of fact, I and all the real Jewish People, are the right owners of the Land of Israel. I have no respect for people who betray Israel with acts or with words.
23. #20
yafe nefesh ,   nahariya   (08.21.12)
The 'real' Jewish people? Now you are to decide who is 'real' and who is 'unreal'? Get a life...
