How about insisting that Hezbollah -- part of the Lebanese government --spend less on weapons acquisitions and more on civilian needs? But that would hardly suit Hezbollah's purposes, would it? Dear Lebanese Citizens, here is a great way to protect all your citizens. Recognize Israel as your rightful neighbor. Sign peace treaty and together we can build a great future for all of us. A good start would be to free the thousands upon thousands of Ex-palestinian refugees from those prisons you call refugee camps. Give them citizenship, allow them to work and live like regular humans. It never ceases to amaze me how you claim to love them so much... enough to "fight" Israel, but not enough to give them life. Join the modern world! You know you can, there is no need to live like your other 7th. century obsessed neighbors. Do that and no need to spend outrageous sums on defense, shelters or a giant military.
