1. Where is Ban Ki-Moon?
Rhonda ,   Chicago, USA   (08.26.12)
"The non-aligned (movement) must seriously oppose ... unilateral economic sanctions which have been enacted by certain countries against non-aligned countries," Salehi told the summit's opening session." And where do we find the head of the United Nations? In New York, standing by the request of countries imposing sanctions? No, he's in Tehran giving lovely photo opportunities along side Achmadinajad, the guy building nuclear devices and calling for the destruction of the State of Israel and the Jewish people. As the line to one of the few country songs I know goes, "You have to stand for something or you'll fall for anything."
2. the ILLEGAL regime in tehran Hosts

3. Next stop...
BK ,   USA   (08.26.12)
for these "freedom lovers" is Charlotte, NC as Obama delegates to the Democrat National Convention.
4. Silly concept, this Non-Aligned Movement
Henry from New York ,   Under the Tuscan Sun   (08.26.12)
Whether they like it or not, the weaker nations will always be at the mercy of the more powerful. That is unless they become powerful and then they will bully around the weaker nations. These high-minded ideas that might doesn't make right (when it comes to interaction between countries) are not based in reality.
5. #2 - What a ridiculous post
Henry from New York ,   Under the Tuscan Sun   (08.26.12)
Illegal regime? Persian Arabs? Expelled from the UN for holding a silly conference? Sir, this kind of post is simply embarrassing.
6. Ach! don't worry about Ban ki moon
Moragh   (08.26.12)
He'll be hiding under somebody's duvet somewhere. Give him a lollipop, that might entice him to stand up and be a man for a change.
7. The only suprise is not photo of Carter and Neturei Carta
meir elazar   (08.26.12)

8. #3 BK - You're not so far off
Devorah   (08.26.12)
Search "Jumah at the DNC." Talk about in-your-face!
9. non-aligned???
daniela ,   panama   (08.26.12)
i would say all those countries that called themselves non aligned, are aligned to terrorism, to poverty, to ignorance, to violence, to low self esteem. And all of those who call themselves come out of that farce in Teheran begging for money, food, armament, technological support from the countries that are aligned to bring prosperity, innovation, higher leaving standards to humanity. Why is it that when there is a natural disaster, all those who criticize the powerful nations of the world come begging for help?
10. 120 nations paying respect to a fraudulently elected regime
Alan ,   Canada   (08.26.12)
Not only are the invited nations attending the meeting consorting with a terrorist country (which some like Venezuela may appreciate as a common ennemy of the USA), but they also give a "slap in the face" of the majority of the Iranians who were defrauded of the results of last elections & were brutally repressed in bloody beatings, torture & killings during peaceful protests. Perhaps their attendance is for many a reflection of their own lack of democracy , decency & regard for human life & freedom,
11. Congradulations Obama
Phil N ,   Wheeling, IL, US   (08.26.12)
The heads of 80 nations and the secretary general of the UN are attending a conference in Iran. Congradulations to Obama and Hillary for the wonderful work they have done in isolating Iran. November can not come soon enough, when we can rid of this horrible administration.
12. MUCH TO YOUR DISLIKING...........#10
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (08.26.12)
The NAM summit has been inaugurated.Don't you worry about what the local Iranians feel.As if you would have cared. All 120 countries are wrong, are they? What could be a better indication of your illiterate man's attitude. I think there are more issues in your own country to do with human life than you may be prepared to even know.Localise yourself and don't worry about the Iranian success in holding this summit.
13. Guess who is coming too?
Susya Bar Dror ,   Israel   (08.26.12)
The famous taxidermist, Nicolas Ashton, from the UK. The brother of Lady Ashton is waiting for working on Ahmaddinedshad.
14. Dark forces convergence
Brod ,   USA   (08.26.12)
The convergence of dark forces in Iran shows that the sanctions do not work. The dark forces are ganging up on the destruction of Israel. And Bank Ki Moon is reported as wanting to attend their meeting too. When the UN does not respect the sanctions, it shows the irrationality of those trying to prevent Israel from defending itself from existential threat. Israel should tell them to go to Hell and do what is necessary to defend the homeland from a mega Holocaust.
15. The real question is?
SD Charger ,   San Diego   (08.26.12)
Did the Sa'udis show up for tea and biscuits as well?
16. #4 is so right !
SD Charger ,   San Diego   (08.26.12)
If the US doesn't change it's ways, we will no longer be the super-power of yesterday. The ME countries are more enlightened now more then ever and starting to wake up to the EU / West bullying of their nations. The charade is almost over and all you-know-what is about to break loose in the ME as a result. Can you blame them?
