After Arafats death Abbas was the right man for the job but over the last 3 - 4 years the man has become a radical and is no longer interested in negotiation and for the sake of his own ego ( going out with great achievements ) he is going to destroy everything. If he goes to the UN if he gets his state on his terms it will be impossible for Israel to renegotiate an unacceptable deal. If he doesn't get his own way when he goes to the UN he is going to abandon the two state idea and start demanding a single state and I think most countries would support him. Even the US has always favoured single state over two states but any president who suggests it is going to pay a heavy price on election day. We need Abbas to abandon this UN bid, hold new elections which he has constantly said he has no intent to stand in and lets see what the new kid on the block has to offer.,

If Abbas wants more money he should just call it stimulus, put in the request for money on recycled paper so looks like its a real environmentally friendly PA and he will get all the money they want. As for the refugee joke a pregnant palestinian woman she is going to eventually give birth to a refugee with a right of return. Want to stop that we need to dissolve UNRWA and put the palestinians under the care of UNCHR which is responsible for every other refugee group in the world even if it doesn't have the kind of budget UNRWA does. The UNCHR is above politics, its job is find home for refuges. UNRWA they have are also political and support things like right of return.
