Uganda was offered to be the Jewish state originally. Just think if we had gone with Uganda we wouldn't have to put up with the arabs and the illegal Africans would not have as far to travel and they would feel more at home than they do in Israel.
6. Since 1976 the entire region
Sarah B   (08.27.12)
has been based in a false flux with Jordan and Egypt playing at pretend peace and Syria countering Israel with it's own WMD's maintaining deterrence between Israel and Syria. It doesn't take rocket science (when you include Iran) that the transition to democracy in places such as Egypt and Libya is going to create some short term instability. What we need is a Foreign Minister who can take advantage of this and open up those countries which have emerged from the Arab Spring to relations with Israel, with the ensuing trading opportunities etc. Instead we have Lieberman so we in turn have a missed opportunity, with a Prime Minister whose answer to everything is to build a bigger wall. Israel is in for a rocky period which could get from bad to worse if Barack Hussein Obama is re-elected as President of the United States of America. Should be fun!!!!

Sarah B, It's not Obama's fault. You and your camp of blame Obama for everything is really pathetic. Is it Obama's fault that Bibi and Barak keep playing games with the settlers? Is it Obama's fault that an Arab man set himself on fire, thus ushering in the 'Arab Spring'? Is it Obama's fault that Iran continue's the issue threats against Israel? The answer to these is no. Obama and the U.S. have their own goals/interests just like Israel has it's own interests as do the arab states. It's so easy to level criticism's at the presidents feet (whomever is in office at the moment), but what you lack is foresight into the long term strategy for these countries. The U.S., if you remember has just fought 2 wars for the past 10 years. They are financial and militarily strapped and you want them to what? Go in and start another war with a country that has more capabilities than Iraq/Afghanistan? You want Israel to start another war with Egypt, though, at this very moment, if Israel were to do anything it would be a rallying cry for all of the Arab states to gang up on Israel? This is why we have general's and intelligence members, because they know a lot more than you do. They can sit down, without letting emotions getting the better of them, and figure/plan this all out. So, before you go around criticizing something that you know very little about, stop and think for a moment. You just might teach yourself something.

maybe you have no contacts in those nations, if you did, you would know that the islamists are in charge now. There will be no peace. Why do you think libyan weapons are now found in syria, egypt, and even taking over mali. The best foreign minister in the world cant save our relations with these guys. The brotherhood wants us all dead! Your first and last paragraphs are good the rest is nonsense

When you look at the Mideast Israel just doesn't belong in the area. You guys are europeans, so the best solution is for you guys to move to Europe and peace will be achieved in the area.

...destruction of the western world. to be replaced by destruction of peaceful moslems...to be replaced by destruction of sunnis by shia...to be replaced by destruction of less extremist moslems by more extremst moslems. Will ever destruction be replaced by construction in the moslem world ? NEVER. There is no such thing as " construction in the moslem mentality.

Do they not have Bibles or history books in Mexico? Moses wasn't a Mexican and he certainly wasn't european. Why don't you worry about your own countries problems. To many of you think you don't belong in Mexico and illegally come here.
